    Good morning.

    GEM MMOC
    Schick Injector Blade (7)
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
Seaforth Sea Spice Lime SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Personal Care Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 40 hrs

I only needed 2 passes to get an error-free BBS shave. I have to see that the Schick Injector Blade in this razor is a great combo. I find the GEM and the knockoff blades not as smooth. However, those blades do a great job as well.
I went with Seaforth Sea Spice Lime set. Although the scent is not strong, it just is marvelous. It makes a nice, slick lather without using too much soap. Here's my lather:

I haven't used the MMOC in about 2 months so it was way overdue to shave with it. Did get some nice Alum feedback.
Finished with the application of Witch hazel and the matching aftershave. Take care.

For today's repeat shave of Rise, I wish I had my "pretty much same as yesterday" rubber-stamp. As @brit above me suggested, I kept shaking it, but it only got a LITTLE better. Maybe the "exit strategy" gradually improves with more use. But that's a strange thing to say-I've never had such a problem. Barbasol, for instance, comes right out, and that began earlier than Rise. Proraso, too, which came out the year before Rise. And as I wrote before, I had no problem with the same product when purchased from the RiseIntl. website many years ago. Perhaps a complaint to the "seller" is in order here. No trouble with the foam itself, just how it exits the can. Feels great once it is on my face and neck. Repeated with the Clubman Gent's Gin...nice job that does. Closed again with Halston Cologne. Super Duper Outstanding.

sometimes holding the can under warm water for half a minute helps.sounds like you got an older can with diminished pressure..

Well: when we buy paint here in the hardware store, they mix the colour you want, and then put it in a paint mixing machine. It gives it a really good long shake to thoroughly mix the paint. You can buy portable ones online. Who knows it might work with goo in a can?

Those spray paints in a can with the metal ball inside take ages to remix if they have been standing too long.

I will indeed try that-which I've done before with other cans. Sounds a little unnecessary to try as a key strength of the Rise is that is seeps water onto the beard, but you have a point about it being an older can.

the heat helps the product expand..nothing to do with the water itself..

Thanks for the advice @brit and @Chris. Now that I think of this, I bet the fellas at the old Rise website did a much better job preparing the cans than the seller of the "new" Rise, did.

Thanks Chris. To be honest, I don't remember if I saw someone on YouTube using this combo or read it somewhere. In any event, I tried it and was surprised how that blade tamed the MMOC.
