  2. Think of it as a slightly more modern Drakkar Noir. Slightly fresher with just a slight uptick in sweetness. Not cloying at all in the heat and can be worn easily anytime of year. Arguably one of their best alongside Encre Noire (whole line up), Pour Homme Equus & Homage A L'Homme. Definitely worth exploring and again, very comfortably priced.

  3. I haven't been to this thread in a while and just read this, I am so sorry that I didn't see it sooner !! I am glad she is doing better , and sorry you guys had to go through this.. I can really understand how that feels though as My wife still has not been able to go back to work yet from the medical problem she had back in lateish May / early June , She ( Alicia , my wife ) is feeling somewhat better now though and hopes to be able to go back to work soon , I think she is getting a little "stir-crazy " sitting at home all the time... Well anyway , again , I am So glad you guys are okay , and , I pray that it continues to stay that way !!

  4. Thank you. I'm glad your wife is better; mine is still unable to drive (as a precaution), but fortunately she is not needed to be on medication. I am the chauffeur at this time and for her health, I'm very willing to be that.

  5. Casual Friday is here & the heat for today is on, near triple digits. Signature scent of the day that actually performs well in the high heat. Unfortunately, very difficult to acquire (discontinued) and ridiculously priced from fragrance gouging lunatics. This is my last bottle that I acquired about 6 years ago for mere pennies on the dollar. Sad as I won't acquire another. I will cherish it for however long it lasts....

  7. A funny note about the Shalimar, of which I am so fond; I’ve worn it since college. A fellow I dated in college also wore it. But of course, he made a point of telling me it was MEN’S Shalimar. I took a whiff from the bottle that he had. It’s the exact same scent.

  16. Yes Primo. It hit me hard about 10 years back and turned into an immediate obsession for about 6 years straight. It has subsided somewhat though on occasion I will acquire something that is either vintage or unique. Shave gear & fragrances. A killer combo to one's wallet. But, I enjoy it immensely...;)
