August 13, 2024 Asylum Injector Proline Zenith Boar MdC Original Agua Lavana Puig After Shave Happy Tuesday Everyone. I decided to use a 2 part lathering method this morning. I started off by using the brain bowl like a shave stick rubbing it over my moistened face. I followed this by loaded the brush vigorously Zenith. Face lathering and adding water slowly yielded a rich thick lather. Just wow. I know how I am using this bowl each day from now on. Fantastic shave to start the day. Take care and have a great day.
Tuesday, August 13 AoS Peppermint~~Vie-Long Beehive~~Barbasol Floating Head/Polsilver~~Montale Leather Patchouli Yesterday I used one of my lightest razors. Today, one of the heaviest in my den. The Barbasol FH is a deceivingly aggressive tool. The Polsilver blade was a tremendous partner of said razor. Stank du jour: Montale Leather Patchouli. I SMELL!!!! Great!

Wednesday, August 14 AoS Peppermint~~Simpson CH3~~Gillette UK Red Tip Super-Speed/Polsilver~~Sécrétions Magnifique My 3017 is not as challenging as ones I have done in the past, however, it still takes a modicum of willpower to use the same soap day-after-day. Outstanding results with the Super-Speed. It's a real joy to use. The stank is...for lack of a better word, unique.

I am up and moving very early this morning for a follow up appointment with my cardiologist which went great. At least I was able to get a great shave in before leaving for the appointment. You may recall me talkinabout how my Mom suggested I try a shower and shave the next morning, after being bed-ridden for 4 days with the flu many years ago. She was right-I got my energy back.
A shower and shave never hurts. Fortunately I was not sick this morning and only had to go in for a follow up exam.

August 16, 2024 Charcoal Goods Everyday Razor Gillette 7 O’clock Black Zenith Agua Lavana Puig After Shave Happy Friday Everyone! Another fantastic shave to start the day. I have my average soap usage up to approximately 2.5 grams per shave. I anticipate this will increase as the soap softens and works further down towards the bowl. I agree with @Keithmax , the bowl is cool but is very messy to lather. It would be much better if the bowl were wider and not over filled. Take care and have a great day.

How do you like that Montale? The only Patchouli I have in collection is Dior Patchouli Imperial. I am inspired, I will break out my Zenith boar too. Good to hear you are feeling better.
Using MdC everyday seems to keep it softer and it feels like I am using more per shave. This stainless steel Mastro Livi has always been a joy to use and maintain. It is one of two. I add lanolin every time I use MdC, it seems to really improve the aftershave feel. I may also just be in my head. The Dorko is another top razor and 7/8 it is a perfect size. I had an early morning appointment so I went with a DE, my Janus Toggle. I was surprised the razor was panned by some on another site. It is very aggressive when at the higher settings, so I turn it down a couple to keep the blade chatter down. The MDCI Invation Barbare is almost done, I am debating wether to buy another bottle or not. It is the only 'powdery' stank in my den. Today I used the Zenith boar, but no picture yet. That will follow tomorrow.
