Looking back at my records, I mistakenly posted that this was the 5th use on this blade when it was on it's 7th use. Why an I posting this? Because I will be shaving with this razor shortly and I will be posting that the blade will be on its 8th use.

Nice and easy 3 pass error-free BBS shave. Tabac always gives me a nice slick lather. I thinned it more than usual and still got a great result. Alum block feedback was noticeable on my neck. Finished with the witch hazel and the wonderful Pinaud-Clubman aftershave. I was just in a NY barbershop state of mind. Take care.

I listed my shave for today on MENTHOL MONDAY. I was glad to switch to Mike's Natural Soaps, as it allowed the glacial feel of the Stoylin(Lime)to come through better than when I had that ArtRazor soap from yesterday. 0;50 at the Loading Dock for the Stoylin brush(the Pro-Handle, my largest Stoylin). Zero cuts, Polka-dots, 2 Knicks(down at Cactus Nation). 2 passes. The aforementioned Stoylin Lime helped control the Knicks. Finished with Halston 4 Men cologne. Most Outstanding.

Given the huge amount of rain overnight, 8+ inches according to the NWS, I felt it appropriate to choose the DG After the Rain.

Declaration Grooming produces a fine lather as well as a wonderfully great scent. The scent profile is as follows: “Like a walk through a forest after a spring shower with notes of wet pine, muted lavender, cedar, and white pepper.”

I proceeded to whip up a nice lather with the Jayaruh boar. My usual three passes with the MMBT left my face smooth and velveteen. No errors along with a silent alum report.
