Let’s see those August Hauls. Thursday’s mail call is from Pasteur Pharmacy. I got Extro Cosmesi’s Arzachena shave soap and aftershave along with a case of Gillette 7 O’clock Super Platinum blades.
August Haul, Yaqi 22mm Sagrada Familia G4 blemished handle sale. The handle pour was not as good as it should of been. The knot is in good shape. Price was right and really do not need another brush but a bargain sometimes is tempting. Have some great shaves!
There are 2 different sizes of Sagrada Familia handles and thought I should mention that for your choice when deciding! The 24mm Sagrada Familia synthetic has a slightly larger handle then the 22mm series. I have the 22mm 2band badger Sagrada Familia and very happy with that brush. Used it this morning so thought you might interested seeing it! Have some great shaves!

I few things came in ..... an unusual Simpson beast (about 26mm knot) and Culmak #30 My In-laws lost their house due to a house fire ....... re-stocking him some necessities from Stirling. I duplicated the order for myself ..... the only thing different is the Oro Valley is mine.
As the knot in my 10 year old Semogue BC Mistura fell apart, I ordered a C3 Torga Mistura. It is very similar, but has a black resin handle instead of the wooden one. I haven't used it yet, but am sure it will be a suitable replacement. I now have 22, 24, and 26mm mixed knot Semogue brushes again. Also, not my haul, but I gifted a sample pack of blades to a coworker. I also left a RR Hawk V3 standard in his care with most of a pack of blades. Pointed him towards Mantics youtube channel and he is having a great time learning to use the razor. It's been a successful August for me regarding shaving gear received and given. Enjoy your day.
Thank you I was surprised that no one bid on the large Simpson the knot seams in great shape. The little Culmak was a last minute decision, but I really like small brushes.
