Cool Turkish shave Barry

Last week my wife and I were out and about and this group of dusky dudes walk by, my wife and I looked at each other and simultanesouly said ARKO! Man they must have used a ton of that to be smelt 3 metres away!

Is the cologne scent as strong as the soap?

Prep = Shea butter soap face wash, Hot water soaks
Preshave = Palmolive Shave lather cream men regular with coconut
Cream/Soap = Clubman Pinaud
Brush = Razorock Plissoft
Bowl = Timeless
Razor = Schick Adjustable @3
Blade = Schick SE (3) super smooth
Passes = 2 multidirectional passes, minor touch ups, including back of neck
Post = Usual CWR, Alum was mild, rinse, pat dry, Thayers Rose Petal
ASL = Old spice: nearly finished
Scent = Jo Malone Velvet Rose with Oud
Score = 100% DFS, 95% BBS
Damage = none

Another superb result from the Schick adjustable at 3, super smooth neck line, just right for the winter woollies!

The super lather provided by the Palmolive and Pinaud is impressive. By the time the lather was applied the Palmolive that was used a preshave had noticeably softened the stubble, which peeled off easily

Great shave! Liked the idea that you used the Palmolive as a preshave Chris. I have some tube shave soaps that I have never used as a preshave. I may do so because I just want to use them up to clear my den.

 

Thank you, Chris. The Arko post shave Cologne's & ASB's that I have are short lived, and don't have much staying power, and Don't smell like the famous love/hate citronella soap-stick fragrance. Personally I don't mind the soap, I find it has a "clean fresh scent", even though it is very synthetic to the nose. For it's lathering performance it's superb, it can dry your skin out with regular use, but I use a Moisturiser or a Balm in my post shave application which works for me.

Great shave this morning-perhaps dedicated to @Yehuda-D for its chill selection on a low-humid day. (Couse he's done colder!). It was essentially all Stoylin, but for the Razorock brush. I didn't time the Loading Dock work, but I got a good amount of the Stoylin soap. Clean and clear shave all around. Goose-eggs on the cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. Good work with the Stoylin Coniferous(w/ Menthol)A.S. No cologne today. As Outstanding As It Gets.

Three passes gave me a very close, smooth and comfortable shave. There wasn't any red liquid appearing anywhere. I just love Seaforth Sea Spice Lime. It can take on water, but you need to be patient adding a little bit of it at a time. Trust me. You will be rewarded with a rich, creamy and thick lather. Here's my lather:



I didn't get any alum feedback. Applied the witch hazel and followed it with the awesome matching aftershave. Take care.

fabulous citrus shave this morning. After I dropped off Anthony at 7 AM to his football practice I hit the gym for my sprint workout on the treadmill. No weights for me, the X3Bar takes care of weight bearing exercises.

What a difference a day makes. Beautiful blue skies, less humidity and an almost Fall
Like feeling to the temperature. Perfect morning to co time with the stacking of 2 cords of wood.

I did the usual three passes with stellar results. The TI, my first straight, smoothly took care of this morning’s growth.
