  1. thank you so much Paul.:):eatdrink047: i fell into the gillette rabbit hole a few years back and collected over 100 nice sets and singles.after some trading and such i kept about 50 ish, mostly british gilletes, wih a few key canadian and u.s examples.all have a flaw or 2 and every one gets used,no shelf queens.i've moved on from collecting now other than an odd score from an antique shop,if i see an odd gillette tech i rescue it,mostly silly stuff..:D.after a lifetime in the car repair/resto industry this is more my speed(and budget)these days.thanks again.:):eatdrink047:

    Good afternoon.

    Gillette Heritage
    Wilkinson Sword DE Blade (3)
    L'Occitane Plisson Synthetic Brush
    Stirling Tsuka SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Personal Care Witch Hazel

I am going to an event this evening so I went with an easy shave. I haven't used my Gillette Heritage in a month so it got the call. I come to realize that I like any Wilkinson Sword DE Blade regardless where it's made. They are sharp, but smooth for me. I consider them my favorite blade.
Of course, my favorite soap is Stirling and Tsuka is one of my favorites. Here's my lather:

Three error-free passes gave me a BBS result. Has some alum feedback, but nothing terrible. Splashed on the witch hazel and the wonderful matching aftershave. Before I leave, I will squirt a few shots of the matching EdT that is not pictured. Take care.

  6. Very nice setup and shave Joe. At one time I was interested in Nordost, but when I found out that it was not a bright citrus, then I decided against it.

  8. If there was a Razor Museum, they would ask you if you would display your collection for at least 3 months.
  9. splendid stirling saturday shave and pics Joe.:bounce017:
  10. then what would i shave with?:D:eatdrink047:
  11. Thanks Gary.
  12. If memory serves me correct, then I think you have a shavette in your collection. Three months/ 90 shaves would make you proficient using one.
  13. very true,that's one option.:)
  14. You behave yourself this evening Joe ;)
Love the story in the shaving review

    Razor: Wilkinson Sword Premium TTO.

    Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Nivea Men 2 Phase + P&G Old Spice Original ASL Mixture. /Cien Men Aloe Vera Body Lotion.

    Greetings,

    Relaxing Sunday Morning Shave.

The Wilkinson Sword TTO is completely different to the Wilkinson Sword Classic plastic two piece. Aggression wise I personally find it very similar as my Chinese Gillette super speed clones. My only gripe with it is the longer than needed handle, apart from that it's a good shaver.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.
