Wonderful shave on the first day of "Barbershop Week". Boy, that Sir Hare shave soap goes on nicely! I remember feeling great about it the first time I used it, about a year ago.I have the Bay Rum this time("Drunken Sailor"). 2 passes. Zero cuts, Knicks, Polka-Dots. The Stephan Bay Rum A.S. was a nice follow-up. I should have shaken it a little more...will do so tomorrow. As Outstanding As It Gets.

 

Good intro again Joe, and lots of "S" options for September.
I reckon I will be looking at some of these "S" 's Sample soap, SE razor, Slant razor, Sterling soap, Semogue brush, Schick Blades, Synthetic brush, unless I can find some more!

Looks to be another interesting month!

Usual Prep and Preshave = Faulding’s shave cream
Cream/Soap = Sterling Satsuma (sample soap)
Brush = Semogue Owners club Finest Badger
80 CW and 80 CCW swirls to fill the brush and really get into the Satsuma sample
Bowl = Timeless
Razor = Schick M type Adjustable @3
Blade = Schick (day 6, still pretty good)
Passes = 2 + only
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal
ASL = fine Latigo
Scent = Santal Spirit Sandalwood EdT
Score = 9.8 / 10. Full DFS, 90% BBS
Damage = none, super smooth and fun shave with the Schick blade on Day 6
