    Sept 2 SOTE

    Good evening.

    Schick I 1 Injector
    Pella Injector Blade (8)
    Hembree/Maggard Timberwolf Brush
    TSD Barbershoppe SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Personal Care Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 29.5 hrs

    20240902_215251.jpg

    I decided to shave this evening instead of doing it tomorrow because I will be meeting Joe C tomorrow for breakfast and I hate to be in a rush. Picked the smooth Schick I 1 because it really delivers a smooth shave everytime. Three error-free passes gave me a very smooth and comfortable shave.
    I went with the TSD Barbershoppe SS because it is mildly scented and I figure why waste a stronger scented setup when I will be in bed shortly. Here's my lather:

    There wasn't any alum feedback. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave to end this session. Take care.

    SE razor, Sterling sample soap, Satsuma, Semogue brush, Schick Blade, Sandalwood

    1 Days growth

    Usual Prep and Preshave = Faulding’s shave cream
    Cream/Soap = Sterling Satsuma
    Brush = Semogue Owners club
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = SCHICK E TYPE CANADIAN
    Blade = SCHICK PROLINE B-20 (6) roughish, past its used by date
    Passes = 3+ were needed,
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal
    ASL = Imperial leather
    Scent = SANTAL SPIRIT SANDALWOOD
    Score = 9 /10, but not as good as it gets

    Damage = none, but definitely feeling roughed up by this razor and blade combo. The Alum was Talking, not sure if it’s the Schick E Type or the blade that are at fault, time will tell….

    Have a great Tuesday one and all

    Edited: belated pikkie just for Joe @JACarbone !

    Last month, I did mention that she was back, but we couldn't get our usual spot for her to serve us. Joe and I did talk to her briefly. Originally, she said that she was coming back this past July, but I found out that she came back in February. Joe and I went to another diner in the area until July. That's when I checked into her restaurant to see if she was back and then got in contact with Joe to let him know that she was indeed back. Unfortunately, we would have been back at her restaurant sooner if we would have known that she cut her trip short.
