Two exceptional Stirling shaves the past two mornings. Both lathers, as produced by two different badger brushes, were what we all have come to expect from this artisan out of Arkansas. Three passes to wonderful smoothness and awesome face feel from the post shave routine.

Ok, I went with my Parker SRS shavette this morning. The Gillette 7 p'clock Permasharp blade felt very smooth. I forgot how much I liked these blades. Lol! Anyway, they are sharp blades, but their smoothness can lull me into autopilot mode so I needed to be careful and do deliberate short strokes for this shave. I am going out this evening and I don't need memory lines on my face or neck. Needless to say, I got a an error-free BBS result on 2.5 passes.

Seaforth Sea Spice Lime is really the bomb! Although the scent is mild, I can still smell it and the lather it makes is awesome. Here's my lather:



I had very little alum feedback. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave to end this session. Take care.

 

Outstanding 37c shave Chris. The 37c was the first razor I purchased back in the mid ‘90s. Love that razor. It gets the honors of being used when I hit a multiple of 25 on my DE usage log. It will be due up next for DE Shave # 550.

 

Sterling Stirling shaves Joe. You and Anthony saw a great game with Vientos hitting 2 2 run homers with the second one ending the game in the bottom of the tenth.

No. It would only have been a 24 hr stubble and I wanted a heavier growth for this morning’s shave since I would be using a shavette with a relatively fresh blade.
