Fine setup, pic and shave Chris. The great thing about wetshaving is that you get to try varying degrees of aggressiveness with the razor/blade combo. Doing so, you will learn what your beard and skin type can handle so you know what's best for you.

Super September shave John, more S's due to your Supply and Scot Pine!
Still haven't bought a Supply, short supply, besidesI already have a few SE to get familiar with

Thanks Gary, so far only my SE blades still perform well after day 4. No probs, I have too many, but it is fun trying different ones

I have enough of most things...... (to be continued)

    Thanks Gary

Thanks Joe, that's the great thing, the not so fun thing about the 30DC thread is there is no way I have the determination to stick with one set up that long, unlike other devotees here!

Rolls Royce set up there Gary

(tbc ......except maybe if a rfb appears on the horizon near me sometime, you never know)

Great shaves Joe. Maggards is having a bit of a sale, I see many TSD posters using Declaration Grooming products, there are a large variety available however. Is there one (Just one mind you!) DG shaving soap that should be in everyones den?

Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
    Brush: Omega 48 Pro.
    Face Lather.
    Lather: Derby Shaving Soap Bowl.
Blade: Euromax Platinum Single Edge. (D1)
    Razor: Yaqi Katana.

    Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./ Gummy Traditional Turkish tobacco Cologne. /Arko Fresh ASB.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

It's Been a while since I last added the Yaqi Katana, and forgot how efficient this single edge is. The assertive Katana is one of the very few razors that I found my shaving angle with after the first 5-7 seconds feeling totally comfortable shaving with it throughout my maiden shave.

The Euromax Platinum Single Edge blade matched together perfectly making a smooth efficient duo.

A efficient close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Arko Fresh ASB.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Well, I made a mistake on the soap on this Throwback Thursday(of all days). It was a Razorock, but it was their "3X"with the glass jar. I made the correction in the SOS post. Sorry to my 6 likers. Anyway, Very well-done everywhere except for a Knick at Central Cactus Nation. 2 passes. It's a nice soap-possibly will add it to my "Can't Be Without This" list, which is growing. But I have a long time before the reorder. The Gabel's Bay Rum A.S. works like a Bay Rum A.S. should, but as I've said, there's more clove in there than I expected from when I first read the description. I wish Sir Hare had a Bay Rum A.S.-I love their BR soap. No(or very little)clove scent. Pretty Outstanding.

    Razor: Genco - Getico 5/8”
    Brush: Semogue Torga C5
Pre-Shave: Pears Soap - Mint Extract
    Lather: Stirling Sandpiper
    Aftershave: Floïd The Genuine
    Additional Care:
    Maggards Alum
    Nivea Sensitive Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

First shave in the Southern den for this trip. Just outstanding! The Genco razor delivered an extremely close shave leaving my face super smooth. A couple of ten minute delayed weepers decide to make an appearance after I finished up the post shave routine. No big deal.

Looks like another hot one on tap. Fortunately, I finished up my X3Bar early this morning. Beastmode! Most likely I will take a dip in the pool later this afternoon. I am sure it will feel like bath water.

Hope you all have an enjoyable day. Those of you in the path of Francine weathered the storm without to much damage.
