September 12 SOTA Head and Face Shave

Good afternoon gents.

Schick E-3 Injector
Schick Injector Blade (11, 12)

Captain's Choice 45th Parallel SS and AS

Personal Care Witch Hazel
Beard Growth: 27.5 hrs
Dome Turf: 43 hrs



It was time for a head and face shave so I went with my Schick E-3. Did get a close shave all around on 3 passes without any issues. Did some cleanups on the dome, but I attribute it to the blade getting at the end of its life. In fact, I will change the blade when I use this razor again.

I went with Captain's Choice 45th Parallel and decided to load from the puck and do a face lather. I decided to do this because this soap was delivered as very hard with flakes.. I figured this soap was on the shelf for a long time. Blooming the soap and loading the brush made the surface smoother, I will continue to facelather until I use this soap. The Captain's Choice 45th Parallel Shaving Cream will be bowl or face lathered. Anyway, no lather pics today.

Had some feedback on the neck and dome, but nothing serious. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave to end this session. Take care.
