    Weishi Chrome/Super Max day 3
    Connaught Peppermint S/C
    Lubriderm unscented moisturizer
    Arko Aqua A/S gel
Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme EDT

I think it was time to switch to another brand of cream or soap, so I used this lovely Connaught cream, which has a very good cooling effect. I highly recommend the Arko Aqua gel--is it ever soothing, and it smells very nice! ;) :D

  4. After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

Shavemac 22mm silvertip (small knot, but easy to load it up for my 4+ passes)
    1934 type Aristocrat/Feather
    MWF
    LT AS
    Storer 'Monk' EdP

First time using a feather in this razor and bingo! Seems like the sharpest blade is the most comfortable in this razor. Very effective and almost as comfortable as when using my regular razor (fatboy). Hehe, I do love the way this thing looks, and am glad to have tried this out with multiple blades before giving up on the open comb style. Yeah, the feather's the one to pair with this razor.

Man.......this MWF creates one hell of a nice lather. No more difficult than other soaps like DR Harris or Institut Karite, with a really thick and great looking result.

All in all, an excellent shave this morning, with a BBS face at the finish.

Thought to start writing here again as soon as a got my blade samplepack and some new s/cream.

    Here's today:

    Hot shower
    Zirh shavingcream as preshave
    Truefitt & Hill Trafalgar shavingcream
    Edwin Jagger Best badger brush
    Merkur Futur w/ Feathers
    Zirh Soothe

My start in this wetshaving career was a pack from Zirh with preshave oil, shavingcream and the aftershave balm. The balm is great really but the cream just doesn't makes it for me. It's the type of cream that not lathers up at all. It does have a nice cooling though so I decided to give it a go as preshave as i heard someone at B&B had tried it and well, it was ok. Nothing i couldn't live without if i say so...
A great shave otherwise. I think the technique is way more better now and that gives some results!

    C&E BBB
    SCS Green Tea
    Alum Block
    Trumper's Sandalwood Skin Food

Felt like a great shave until the Alum block. Never had that delayed razor burn before. Now, I woke with an ingrown on my chin. No more Wilkinson blades for me.

    Thursday 1/8 . . .

    • [*]Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
[*]Brush: Knotty Badger refurbished Ever Ready 300 with Silvertip
      [*]Cream: TSD Bamboo & Teak
[*]Razor: Undated Gillette Tech with Ball End Handle
[*]Blade: Treet Classic Dura Sharp (shave 1)
[*]Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
[*]A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner & Pinuad Clubman A/S
[*]EDT: TSD Bamboo & Teak EDT

[*]Result: Super BBS shave with no blood. The Treet blade is very sharp and provides a nice smooth shave. Thanks Squire for our great review. Of course the TSD cream helped the Treet do its job by providing a great slick lather. Good to be back to the Tech. It is everything that most of us say it is. I would suggest the Tech as the best "1st DE razor" for a newbie.

Today was my first time trying this shave cream that I stock in my shop....It will be in my regular rotation. I really liked it.

What isn't listed here is the AS Balm I used today too. I'm testing it to see if I will stock it in my shop. It is Canadian Made.... first impression is that is might be a keeper.... I tried the unscented today. I will try some of the scented versions through the next few days.
