    I just read Joe's answer to your question on the Leaf razor. I am not refuting what Joe experienced. Originally, I was intrigued by it because I have seen YouTubers easily use it headshaves. I have never ordered the Leaf because it looks cheap and I think it's overpriced. Finally, it looks like the blades are farther apart than a conventional multi-blade disposable razor so I think that getting ingrown hairs from the Leaf would be a non-issue. Of course, your mileage may vary.

    Another fine shave with Chiseled Face Sherlock. 0:50 at the Loading Dock. Clean and clear shave all around. 2 passes, but again I really felt one would have been good enough. Goose-eggs on cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. A better job down at Cactus Nation Central, as I went the South-to-North route, as I got further down towards the Adam's Apple. Good job with the CF Sherlock aftershave, and a nice close with Halston Cologne. As Outstanding As It Gets.

    Hi Joe,
    Can you compare Floïd The Genuine to the Mentolado Vigoroso, which I always enjoyed. Thanks.

    Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./ Brut Sport Style ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

    The Proraso Blue cream created an excellent lather in a short space of time for my shave this morning. I find that synthetic brushes give the best results when using shave creams.

    A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

    Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

    My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.;)

    Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.:cool:

    Great shave Joe, getting into those samples I see.

    Thanks Gary, just so I know what I am looking at, there are a few of these floating around down here but only in the brown case, and all a bit shabby

    Both looking more than presentable. Those valets intrigue me, at some stage I will come across one I guess

    SE razor, Sterling soap, Satsuma, Synthetic brush, Sandalwood

    2 Days growth, works better for me with a SE razor

    Usual hot water Prep and Preshave = Faulding’s shave cream
    Cream/Soap = T&H Sandalwood + Sterling Satsuma
    Brush = Razorock Plissoft
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = SE Eversharp Hydromagic L-1
    Blade = Schick (5)
    Passes = 3 +
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal
    ASL = PR Rinfrescante
    Scent = Santal Spirit Sandalwood
    Score = 9.5 / 10
    Damage = none, getting close, only a few minor left over bits of turf

    The T&H smells OK, works fine with the Synthetic brush, but lathers up thinner than I would like, I mean generally thin lather is OK, but maybe this croap needs less water. I thought that lathering it over the top of the Faulding Shave cream (that I used a preshave would help matters) but it still disappointed in the skin protection front. The blade was getting a bit close, the T&H wasn’t doing it for me anymore so I dipped the brush into the remaining bits of the Satsuma, to beef up the lather a bit. Much better. Next time I use the T&H I will leave it thick to start off with. I think blade is fading......?

    I do like the SE razors, no blade overhang, the heads sort of suck to the face while shaving if the lather and the angle are right

    Great shave Barry. In my experience, synthetics make great lathers whether it be soaps or creams.

    Thanks Chris. Except for the Pasteur's Pharmacy samples, Joe piffed the rest. Soap Commander Vision and Honor produce great lathers, but light on the scent. Lather Brothers Calle Ocho has a nice scent and Los Jabones de Joserra Noir is also a good soap as well.
