Did a 3 pass error-free shave with this 100+ yr old vintage razor. I got a nice smooth shave, but it was not BBS. That's fine with me for an evening shave. I went with the Limencello set just to get that nice citrus scent to make my shave enjoyable. Of course, it helps that this soap makes a nice lather , too. Here is my lather:



I didn't get any alum feedback. Finished this session with the application of the witch hazel and the matching aftershave. Take care.

Your Correct, Chris. I have looked after it, as I do with all my other shaving kit, what ever the cost value of it...What's the old saying, "If you look after something, It'll look after you".

 

Another winner of a shave, with Clubman Special Reserve A.S. following Stoylin Oro Valley soap. Nice work at the Loading Dock, although I added a little more soap for the second pass. No cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. 2 passes. Missed a bit at the right jawline(between that and my ear). I really don't want to get back to THAT habit. I just went back to get what I missed. Clubman Special Reserve is always great. It's the best aftershave for my leather-related soaps.....well,actually it ties with Fine Accoutrements Latigo. Super Duper Outstanding shave overall.

Excellent citrus based shave that finished off nicely with the warming scent of the Derby City Small Batch aftershave.

Three passes, although not really needed, with the Dovo Shavette with the Persona Hair Shaper blade has left my face super smooth. I did manage one delayed weeper just under the right nostril. No big deal. It was easily taken care of the a tiny piece of toilet paper.

From all appearances on the outdoor cameras, the Southern den did not have any damage from Helene. I will confirm with my neighbor later this afternoon.
