Shave of the Week Starting 10/07/2024 Razor.......Colonial CR7 Plate #3 Blade.......GSB Brush......TRC Soap.......Yardly Balm......Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe A/S........Various Last week I used the Colonial CR7 with Plates #1 and #2. Plate #1 was nice and comfortable but far too mild for me. Plate #2 was more efficient but still comfortable. This week will be Plate #3 chance. First shave with it shows it to be far more efficient but not quite as comfortable for me. Not that its bad, just not as mild/comfortable as Plates 1 and 2. I'll use it this week and then try to decide which plate is best for me. But my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

TOBS probably has a great OUD shaving cream, but I'm happy with the two Stoylins I have. Course I have until next October to look into the TOBS offering.
MMMonday, October 7th 2024 Razor : MicroMatic Clog Pruf Peerless variant (17 nib safety bar), Mfg 1945, mid range. I always get some decent shaves with this razor + one of my favorites of 3 Micromatic main variants. Had a close comfortable shave this morning. Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (7) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle. Soap : Ach Brito Lavanda cream, very nice bright lavender + excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Chianti's" 24mm Synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Overall great brush to hold and apply lather for my shave needs. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda aftershave cologne with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Micromatic clog pruf with a coated Gem blade. Have some great shaves!
Oh ok....I'm sure it is. Do they have an Oud aftershave, and if so, is THAT real oud? My Agadir has the resl stuff, I'm convinced. The whole store(Agadir)is "nuttin but Oud Wood(hence the name-Agadir)"
No way. Even their "Oud-named" soaps do not have Oud. Indgredient list: Ingredients: Beef Tallow, Stearic Acid, Distilled Water, Castor Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Vegetable Glycerin, Fragrance Oil, Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Coconut Milk, Lanolin, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Lactate
