Man oh man, not only does this Frosted Lavender soap and aftershave smell delightful and freeze the crap out of you, the skincare is perfect - the sensation afterwards is so relaxing and soothing. The soap is tallow based, the lather is AWESOME, the menthol sensation is easily a match for any of the Stirling Glacials, and I can’t get over how great my skin feels. The Gold Bond moisturizer is also plenty chilly as well as very soothing, and the Frosted Lavender aftershave is witch hazel based so it never burns or stings, and get ready for some major icicles in your face. Finally a little Bleu de Chanel and my day got off to a great start. What a three pass work of art this was - a shave fit for a king!

Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.1) with Cedarwood & Patchouli.
Blade: Feather Hi Stainless. (D1)
Razor: Mühle R41. (2013)
Razor: Gallant II Platinum. (Head) - (D2)

This most recent soap from Auntie Ratna is really excellent both in slickness and scent. The former is as good as her previous tallow soaps. The latter being the best scent she has come up with. There's a nice citrus, woody, floral top note.
Lovely shave with the Schick.

DE SOTD, Tuesday, October 8th 2024

Razor : Razorock Lupo.72 316 SSP head. Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining, finish + design QC for my shave needs. Checks all the boxes for myself in a razor to receive a decent shave, if operator has good hand technique the razor should give the other needs for close comfortable shaves like this morning shave IMO.
Blade : Personna red(1) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX has a nice unique clean scent that just uplifts a person with some excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi"Red Zebra" 26mm snow leopard knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. My 1st 26mm brush that impressed me so much that now I have a total of 5 of 26mm knots.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless) + mist of XXX cologne scent.
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my RR lupo.72 with a Personna red blade. Wonderful shave this morning.

Did I ever enjoy the Cella soap after not having used it for so long. I love its lovely raw almond scent, it lathers like a maniac, and it leaves such a comfortable postshave feeling that the Aveeno moisturizer enhances. The English Leather aftershave smells so old school and beautiful. Three passes did me proud - what a great BBS shave this was!
