Bowl: coconut bowl with some internal ridges, made in Vietnam if I remember well
Muhle R41
Feather (2)
Usual Post but added some Nivea Balm
Fantasticly close shave, 2 passes with touch ups
Minor weep top lip left, from buffing XTG trying to get too close: Alum and cold water took care of that

The R41 head is longer and wider than most, it’s not as nimble as some other razors
Minimal blade tab overhang so that is a plus
Not sure if this is a keeper, will need to bring this back into the rotation more often to decide, maybe with a different blade next time

The Campania has almost no scent to my nose but lathered beautifully in the coconut bowl
No air bubbles at all, unlike my other Sterling soaps, I am wondering if this is because it is a freshly opened sample or whether the Timeless bowl that I normally use has too many ridges

Minimal scent today, off to the Dentist

A much better shave today than yesterday. The brush could have been the cause of that. A minute at the Loading Dock. I might have done a little better administering the soap to my face and neck, but it was OK. 2 passes. Again, goose-eggs for cuts, Knicks, Polka dots. Should have done better down at Central Cactus Nation, but that's the sensitive area of CN, so it's better to go too soft than too hard there, even if it results in a miss. Agadir again for the aftershave(classic Oud for OUDtober). No cologne today. I've always enjoyed Agadir for Oud, but I'm sure there are better Oud choices out there, I'm just satisfied enough with Agadir. Very Outstanding.

Yesterday, I had a very close shave and I am still socially acceptable, but I just wanted to shave because I am going out this evening. It's not a social event. Anyway, I picked my trusty Dovo shavette for this afternoon's session. I did 3 error-free passes with an awesome smooth and close shave.

I went with the TSD Barbershoppe set because the scent is not strong and I will be in a place where it will be frag free. By the time I get there, this scent will be gone. Here's my lather:



The alum feedback was minimal. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave and I am good to go. Take care.

Fabulous Oud shave this morning. Another glorious weather day here on LI. Who needs to go to Florida. High of 82 today. Snow next week. LOL!

Another three pass shave. The Razor Rock soap make a fine lather which provided an excellent cushion for the blade to do it’s job.
