Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 10005.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: MWF. (Tallow)
Blade: Personna GEM PTFE. (D1)
Razor: Gem Micromatic (OC)
Razor: Cien Men Twin Blade. (Head) - (D1)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Bulldog Original Moisturiser./ Hugo Boss Dark Blue EdT.

(Face & Head Shave)

A new shave set up to start the weekend...It's been a while since I last added the Gem Micromatic (OC) to my razor rotation. The Micromatic SE (OC) fitted with the GEM PTFE blade is my most assertive vintage duo I have. As with any razor shaving confidence, a light touch, & good technique are the key to a comfortable close shave especially the Gem Micromatic (OC).

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Hugo Boss Dark Blue EdT pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #424 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Stick Injector Razor and the Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It’s been ages since I last used my Tabac stick but whenever I do I get so much pleasure from it. This is the tallow version which is no longer available, it has the beautiful old school Tabac scent that I love so much, the lather is sumptuous as well as mega slick, and it leaves a wonderful postshave feeling that’s so comfortable. The Aveeno moisturizer works so well as a balm, and the Tabac aftershave was a perfect finish. Another awesome three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

DE SOTD, Saturday, OCtober 26th 2024.

Razor : Yaqi 3pc SLOPE 316 SS head with a Yaqi brass nickel coated handle. Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range. Very affordable well machined and finish is adequate for my shave needs. Very affordable for a decent slant IMO.
Blade : Gillette Astra blue(4) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild rose cream, nice scented rose scent with excellent lather qualities. Top notch cream IMO.
Brush : Yaqi "Artic sky" 24mm synthetic knot. Nice soft face feel brush for my shave needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Nivea Blue refreshing lotion splash + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqi 3pc razor with a Astra blue blade. Very enjoyable shave this morning.
