I have a lifetime of blades now. Years ago I read of someone doing this, and I thought I'd give it a go. This is probably the fourth time I have picked up this blade to continue the experiment. I will set it aside after this week and revisit it at a later date. As for now, it is just something else to do with this crazy hobby/obsession.

My sister posted Happy Birthday wishes to me on FB this morning. She said she is glad my story is still being written. It made me tear up a bit, to be honest. I'm 48 years old today. For a long time, I didn't think I would bother to live this long. I suffered severe depression for a LONG time. In y darkest times, even before I ever told anyone what I was going through, I knew there were people who cared about me. I didn't want to hurt them, so I ket going, even when I didn't want to. Even when I was too afraid or ashamed to talk about my struggle I knew I wasn't alone. So I thought it would be fitting to use Never Alone 4 from The Razor Company today. And I used the Parker Open Comb adjustable razor my parents got me for my birthday present.

    Thursday's Cold Water Shave

    Cold Water Rinse
    ARKO Shaving Cream
    Jayaruh #437
    Gillette OC Frankenrazor
    Personna Super (85)
    Cold Water Rinse
    Humphrey's Witch Hazel
    Lucky Brand Citrus Mist

The ARKO Shaving Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #437 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette OC Frankenrazor and the Personna Super (85) Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Lucky Brand Citrus Mist. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
