Fine looking shave Danny. That brush just pops right out of the picture. Then again, I am biased.

    Good morning.

    Mühle R102
    Gillette 7 o'clock Permasharp DE Blade (5)
Suneko Amorphous Diamond DE Blade (1)
    Hembee/Maggard Timberwolf Brush
Pasteur's Pharmacy Gotham The Five Points SS
    Pinaud-Clubman Classic AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 2 days
    Dome Turf: 4 days.

Definitely needed a dual shave today. Picked the Mühle R102 for the task. Did 3 passes on the face and got a very close shave. I changed the 7 o'clock Permasharp DE Blade because it was starting to get rough and didn't want to chance it with my headshave. Three delightful passes on the dome using the Suneko blade gave me a cueball result. Btw, there wasn't any blood loss.

I went with the Pasteur's soap sample because I wanted to deep six it. The last remaining sliver was put into my shave mug with the other soap remnants that will be used later on this week. Anyway, it produced a nice lather as you can see below.

Had minimal alum feedback on the neck and nada on the dome. Splashed on the witch hazel and the Pinaud-Clubman Classic aftershave to finish this shave. Take care.

Great barbershop shave today.. Clean and clear all over with the Italian Barber Co. combination of the Razorock brush and soap. No damage done. 2 passes. Clubman A.S. was a fine close(the 12.5 oz. size, which is found in most barbershops).

I might add that I should call this an "All Barbershop Grooming" week-end, as I shampooed in the shower with Clubman Country Club, and groomed my hair just before the shave with Clubman Styling Gel. Actually, I just DID add that(l0l). Course I know this isn't the "Groom Den", bu when I use Clubman aftershave, I go all the way.

i read somewhere that the rocket HD,,#58 and the #66 all had the same head/blade exposure, and inner mechanisms, just different handle designs milled onto the same handle blank.which would make sense as they were all made in the same time frame 1952 - 61 ish..thus giving all said gillette owners similar shaves using the slightly different weights of said razors.the head is supposed to be in between a british regular flare tip and a british red tip.,which both have more blade gap/exposure than their u.s counterparts.:):eatdrink047:

it is a shame, and a true downside to artisan produced products.while the owners truly deserve to retire at their leisure, the loss of a uniquely fine product can be hard to replace.:)
