The ARKO Shaving Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #437 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher and the Heljestrand Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Lucky Brand Citrus Mist. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This Delmy soap from India is probably the CHEAPEST shaving item on this planet - from what I understand it costs just 25 cents or so. Yes, it’s in a very small container but it lasts a long time so it’s a great budget soap with a very nice old school barbershop scent, I use it like a stick by wetting it and rubbing it all over my face and neck for about 30 seconds and it gives me FANTASTIC lather that’s surprisingly very slick, and it’s fairly good in the skincare department. The Prep felt so good afterwards, and the Polar Ice aftershave’s scent pairs so well with the soap and the Prep. Finally the beautiful Aramis fragrance and I’m good to go. Three passes gave me a most enjoyable BBS shave - no complaints whatsoever!

Here my Shave of the Day (24.11.2024)


Razor: Pearl Flexi // Blade: GBE (6) // Soap: WSP Mahogany // Brush: Semogue 2015 HD // Aftershave: Witch Hazel - Clubman Special Reserve

A very fine shave. From start to finish. The blade worked fine as on it´s first shave. Smooth and gentle. The Soap performed well with it´s great scent so the Brush had no problems whipping up luxurious lather. 2,5 passes and i was smooth like Glass.

Applied my trusted Witch Hazel followed by the wonderful smelling Clubman Special Reserve, a fine mix of Leather and Spices. One of my absolute favorite Aftershave scents.

SE Sunday Schick shave, November 24th 2024

Razor : Schick adjustable M3 injector, well built with just normal use and has lasted a generation and going strong. Schick was a leader in metal folding accuracy. This razor seems a little blade forward on lower settings IMO.
Blade : SChick injector , sharp and smooth with good longevity.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum sage and Cedarwood, nice Bayrum scent with some clove + excellent lather qualities. (Use puck like a soap stick works very well & face lather IMO!)
Brush : Yaqi "Orbital ring" 24mm boar bristle knot. Great brush for my shave needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum with Sandal wood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Schick adjustable injector with a SChick blade.

This was my first shave with the Ile De France razor. I modified a Parker de blade to fit since these originally took a proprietary blade. It eas a very smooth shave. As always, Abbate Y Lamantia Ishtar performed flawlessly. And this brush beautifully restored by Freddie Payne is always a pleasure to use.

That was the most amazing shave. The twin blade result was so close and smooth. Well pleased Mike @MPF9 gifted them with the Schick I.
