    Thank you Joe. Both the 3 Piece & TTO parker DE razors are made in India. The underside of the bottom plate on the older models, has "Made In India" stamped on it. The Parker 94R (Head) is a clone of the Edwin Jagger DE 89/Muhle R89 closed comb head which all have the same head on the 3 piece parker DE razors the only difference is the handle sizes. I personally find the 3 piece models to be more assertive than the TTO models. The Muhle head, like the Merkur head or the Gillette Tech, is a tried and true design that is often cloned or used as for a new design.

    Black Friday Shave

    This was the back 9 of yesterday, with one key difference:

    Brush-Stoylin 26mm. "Pro-Handle"

    Another Bill Neumann winner. I've alway been happy with my "in-shower shave preps", and this morning was no exception. I'm just not a "pre-shave oil" kinda guy. A minute again at the Loading Dock for the Stoylin brush. At first I thought it might be too big for the small BN soap container, but it did me just fine. Clean, clear shave all the way through. Once again, no damage. A little more of he Heartwood A.S. than previous uses....that's the way to do it with skin-friendly products(IMO). Very hapy. As Outstanding As It Gets.

    (Face & Head Shave)

    A new eclectic shave set up to start the Weekend. A close comfortable face & head shave to end November wonderfully.

    Throughout the month focus the Parker 87R & 94R/Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Blue Pack blades duo has provided me with consistently close comfortable shaves taught me how to get the best from both razors. I highly recommend doing a month focus with just one or two razors, by doing so your shaving technique improves multitude, and appreciate razors that you have infrequently used.

    Earlier in the month I had an over due ruthless den clean out of DE razors which where the Parker 99R 89R, & Muhle R89 + two Chinese plastic handle "Tech Type" head clones of which I have now passed on to family & friends who I know will put them to good use.

    I'm now quite content with the razors I have remaining in my collection, and don't have any desire to purchase anymore in the distant future.

    For my December focus I had all intention of using the Merkur 34C HD & Edwin Jagger DE 89 (Kelvin) but changed my mind at the last minute and decided to use & alternate my Chinese super-speed clones the Baili BD177 Rose Gold TTO & Yintal 9306-I TTO instead paired up with the Dorco Prime Platinum blades for my face shaves, & continue to use a variety of Cartridge razors for my head shaves.

    Finishing the shave of with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd Essentials No 15 EdP to the pulse points.

    My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

    Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.:cool:

    ..Seems you are slowly retreating out of the razor rabbit hole...For the time being I 'am Chris, I will occasionally still buy the odd bottle of Aftershave when I run low, but hardware wise I'm quite content for the some years to come. Enjoy your 1'st day of spring in Oz. Yours-Barry.

    Prep and Preshave = hot water soak x 3. T&H No 10 as preshave
    Soap = Fine Latigo, easy latherer. Not quite the same scent as the ASL but fine enough
    Brush = Omega Boar 10049
    Bowl = white plastic
    Razor = Pearl Flexi OC
    Blade = Vintage Schick (1)
    Passes = 2 +
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal, Nivea Balm
    Scent = Fine Latigo ASL
    Scent = Guerlain Pour Homme EdP
    Score = 9.5 / 10
    Damage = 0

    Phew! New toy. Quite a step up in weight from the Tech to this 145 grammer….set on 1 to start with, finishing up at setting number 2 while I am getting used the heft of this thing. Grippy handle. Blade tabs are covered. Overall nice engineering, the handle grips are a bit on the sharp side but I think it was intended that way: can’t have this heavy thing slipping around when wet

    Day 1 of the last blade in the vintage Schick tuck, wonderful shave overall
    Great end to November

    Hope you are all having a great Saturday

    Terrific post and shave Barry. I have approximately 35 razors so I don't see myself adding to my collection as well. However, I wouldn't give any away because I use and enjoy them at all. Maybe, if I live to be 90, then I may do so.

    Thank you Joe. I see your point on not giving away any of your razors, but my way of thinking is if you are not getting use from something then in hindsight it's not something you really need, so why not pass it on to be put to good use. As always opinions are very subjective. Thanks for being honest with your comments, I always get a honest view from your good self. Enjoy your weekend. Yours-Barry.
