Sunday Schick shave, Dec 1st 2024

Razor : Schick E2 injector, Canadian Variant. Mfg 1930's-40-s, mid range. Excellent razor to last generations, great metal folding and accurate stamping for that time period(hard to match even today with modern technology). Weight is about 1OZ for this razor.
Blade : SChick injector (4) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : CRSalter Wild Rose, nice rose scented 6-7/10 strength with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Artic sky" 24mm 3band silvertip badger. A very luxury face feel quality + a nice handle to work the face.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Italian Barber Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Schick E2 injector with a SChick blade. Very nice shave this morning.

yes sir ,nicely scented,cool "see through" soap..

First shave with the Gillette Diplomat. It has an A 1 date code. Which I believe makes it a first quarter 1953 sicne i read they were produced from 1953 to 1956. I loaded the Gillette Spoiler I've been using and it was a great shave. The Moon Soaps Amaretto lathered well with this beautifully restored Ever-Ready brush. It has an AP shave co Gelousy SHD knot.

The TSD Iced Lemongrass Shaving Soap lathered well with the Turkish #6 Horse Hair Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette President razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thank you. I'm glad I didn't sell this one. I had it listed for a while. I think it will be sticking around for a long time now.

Holy Toledo, I pity anyone who can’t handle such intense menthol because this Glacial Iceberg Island soap and aftershave are BLOODY COLD. The scent is gorgeous - it’s just about an exact copy of the Virgin Island Water fragrance from Creed, the soap lathers magnificently, it’s got the typical Stirling slickness, and the postshave care is perfect. The Stoffel balm is another menthol atom bomb with such a nice peppermint scent as well as lots of soothing and moisturizing. Finally the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave added another coating of icicles into my face along with its lovely scent that has great staying power. What a delightful three pass BBS shave this was!
