I have this Roses and Dublin Tweed. They're both good imo. They are glycerin based soaps.

Razor : Yaqi TFC adjustable. Mfg 2021>, all ranges. Well made and very affordable IMO. The Yaqi Final cut adjustable mechanism is based from the Gibbs adjustable adjustable razors of the 1930's-40's + works great for my shave needs.
Blade : Gillette Nacet(3) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Tabac, a flowery scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Sagrada Familia" 22mm G4 synthetic knot. Great small handled brush for my shave needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock American barber with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : Dial 10.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=[IMG] Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi TFC adjustable razor with a Gillette Nacet blade.

    Greetings,

    A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

The vast majority of my shave set ups are very in-expensive, today proved to me yet again that I can always get pleasurable shaves from traditional wet shaving accessories that don't cost the earth...The Dorco Prime platinum pair wonderfully with my mild razors.

The humble grated Palmolive classic shave stick provides a superb protective lather.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Cucumber Moisturising Lotion.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

    Hi Friends,

Here my Shave of the Day (08.12.2024)

    IMG_5177.jpeg
Razor: PILS 104 NE // Blade: GBE (8) // Soap: MWF // Brush: Semogue 1305 HD // Aftershave: With Hazel - Marbert Man

This has been a stellar shave. Silk and smooth.

The blade shaved like it was it´s first shave. Gentle and smooth.

An exremely joyful combination with this wonderful razor.

3rd time using this soap. This is such an amazing soap. Scent, performance, skin care…everything top notch. I deeply adore it. 2,5 passes and the shave was done. Applied some Witch Hazel and after that dried i used my trusted Marbert Man with it´s deep warm, spicy and woodsy scent. Paired very well with the soap.

Nothing less: 10 out of 10

Have a great time, enjoy your shaves and stay safe and healthy.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

Lather Catcher Sunday's Cold Water Shave

    Cold Water Rinse
    Arko Shaving Soap Stick
    Turkish #6 Horse Hair
    1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher
    Personna Gem Stainless PTFE
    Cold Water Rinse
    Lustray Spice After Shave

The Arko Shaving Soap Stick lathered well with the Turkish #6 Horse Hair Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher razor and the Personna Gem Stainless PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Sunday morning:

    Long hot shower
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Bic day 11
    PAA Cold Spices SS
    Lubriderm Moisturizer
    PAA Cold Spices AS Splash

If this Cold Spices soap and aftershave didn’t have menthol they would smell 100% like the Shulton Old Spice. The soap is very thirsty so it’s a very good idea to leave your brush quite wet and this way it’ll give you EXCELLENT lather with lots of slickness, and it has a pretty good postshave feeling. The Lubriderm moisturizer is very soothing, and the Cold Spices aftershave has a fairly strong menthol kick - perhaps a bit too strong because it sort of blurs the Shulton Old Spice scent. Would I buy this soap and aftershave again after I finish them? No I wouldn’t - in fact the reason I’m using them is because they were a birthday gift from a good friend of mine but after they’re gone I’ll forget about them. No complaints about this shave at all - three passes left me as smooth as a baby’s little tukhis!

Wishing you all a nice Sunday - be well and stay safe![IMG]
