I guess it would be Bay Rum, with "Bay" as part of the name.

 

It's more of a bay leaf scent, without the heavy clove and cinnamon.

Oh wow.....that's for me, then(I'm no clove man-I guess SOME is ok, but it should be blended in well enough with other ingredients, which is why I like Stephan BR so much.

 

It sounds like you would like it. It's a good lather too. It's a croap (Shaving Cream Soap).

This Top Ten cream has such a nice aquatic/sporty scent and it lathers so thick, rich, with plenty of slickness, it’s pleasantly mentholated, and it’s so soothing. The Nip Man balm is awesome stuff too, and the Aqua Velva aftershave felt so chilly as well as invigorating. Finally the Baker Street completed the job perfectly - man does it ever smell nice. Two passes sufficed for a a great BBS shave!

DE SOTD, Tuesday, December 17th 2024

Razor : Razorock Lupo.72. Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining and design.
Blade : GSB (4) sharp and smoooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX, nice unique fresh scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "black marble" 24mm 3band silver tip. Big bloom knot with excellent handle for my shave needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my RR Lupo.72 with a GSB blade.

Here my Shave of the Day (18.12.2024)


Razor: iKon SBS + Maggard MR5 // Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra (11) // Soap: MdC Original // Brush: Shavemac // Aftershave: Witch Hazel - Agua Brava

Stellar shave.

2,5 passes to be BBS. The soap with it´s wonderful blended mix of Lavender, Mint and Rosemary gave that cozy feeling and produced tons of cushiony lather with a wonderful glide. The Razor glided across my face with ease and the blade in it´s 11th use did not show a sign of degradation.

After rinsing my face i applied Witch Hazel and after that the wonderful smelling Agua Brava which is a great pairing with the soap.

A very smooth and relaxed shave.

10 out of 10

Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Pocket Edition (1914) razor and the Gillette Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
