Thanks Chris. We are on a rota each year, the last two years my name hasn't been on it so I can't complain really. Normally those who are on call get called out maybe 3-5 days max over the holiday period which isn't too bad.

Brush-Razorock "Tricolore" synthetic*



*-handle has the 3 colors of Italy on it.

Very happy with the shave. Clean and clear all over. 2 passes. No damage. Another good dose of the Gabels B.R. aftershave. A little more Clove as compared to the Stephan, but I'll finish the bottle. A gentleman here explained that Bay Rums need the clove scent. Well, that's fine, but for me it must be mixed in with the other ingredients. As Outstanding As It Gets.

Went for my heavy hitter razor to plow through 4 days of dome turf. Three passes plus touchups gave an error-free cueball smooth shave. Picked out the TSD Orange soap set because it lathers well and the scent is mild. I loaded the brush off the puck so there isn't a lather pic.
Surprisingly, there wasn't any alum feedback. Finished the shave in my usual manner. Take care.

Didn't want to wait for tomorrow so I decided to shave this evening.
This shave was subpar for me. Only did two passes and ended with a nick on my neck. I forgot that I needed to hone this razor and it cause the mishap. I look clean shaven, but I would classify it as a socially acceptable shave.
Here's my lather:



The alum was silent over the nick and everywhere else. Finished the shave with my usual routine. Take care.

Pears Transparent bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Naples Tuxedo Synthetic.
Face & Head Lather.
Lather: Ach Brito Mogno Shaving Soap Bar.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum. (D1)
Razor: Yintal 9306-I TTO.
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) (D3)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Brut Original ASL with added menthol crystals/Boots Cucumber Moisturising Lotion.

A new shave set up to to start the weekend... The Ach Brito Mogno soap always produces a slick protective lather in a short space of time leaving a superb post shave feel.

An enjoyable face & head shave for the winter solstice.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Cucumber Moisturising Lotion.

My face & precious swede are both feeling cool smooth, and smelling divine.

superb 3 pass shave Joe. I still have my dome turf but it is getting harder to figure what to do with it. Had it cut much shorter this week. Maybe one day I will go the cue ball route, but not yet

Blade = Kai (1)

Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal, Nivea Balm
ASL = Cella
Scent = PR Cypress & Vetyver
Score = 9 / 10
Damage = minor weeper left lower neck, the alum was hot

I find the Kai blades quite harsh, apart from being a little wider they tend to lack the requisite smoothness, not the best match for this razor

Super smooth shave though

Scent = Guerlain Pour Homme
Score = 9.5+ / 10
Damage = None,

Another really close shave with the Aristocrat. The Bolzano has a better mixture of smoothness and sharpness

(Useles information: my wife likes her RM Williams boots. They are a firm favourite here down under, but I never got to like mine, so sold them on)
