    Usual Prep and Preshave = T&H No 10
    Cream/Soap = TOBS Oud
    Brush = Semogue Pegasus C7 finest badger
    Bowl = white plastic
    Razor = No 66
    Blade = Kai (2) (3)
    Passes = 2 +
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal, Nivea Balm
    ASL = PR Barbe Dure with Oud drops
    Scent = Oud Malak (me like’em, my wife not so much, oh well)
    Score = 9+ / 10
    Damage = None

    I am finding that the TOBS croaps work better with more of the croap, and less water
    The Kai felt much better on day 2 and 3 in the No 66

    I planned on only doing 2 passes for an acceptable shave to give my face some breathing space
    As it turns out the shaves were one of the better ones: super smooth DFS all over with BBS +++

    No damage even with ATG

    Very happy

    Enjoy Your Mondays ;)

    Lol! when I feel the dome there are quite a few bumps. It would be a revelation to the family!

    Thanks Joe, they can be, but can also be worn around the farm till they fair fall apart: they have a reputation for longevity

    thanks Joe

    fine vintage set up Gary

    Fine duo of shaves Joe

    thanks Joe

    thanks again Joe

    Well congrats on the 6 years Joe it's a cool place to hang out and learn

    Great looking shave John: no blood and Silent Alum, all good!

    Interesting. I guess the motorcyclists like long lasting boots. They guy I sold mine had a few pairs already, like you, some for work, some for mucking around in and some for cross country riding.

    Another regal shave indeed Gary

    Cool: another perfect shave and fun setup Joe

    For today(Monday)I closed out the Ike combination(for now), with a different

    Brush-Maggard 24 mm. "Marble Handle" synthetic, w/Canadian Maple Leaf on the bott
    Much better shave this morning, in that S. Porcupine made it through unscathed. No problems anywhere else. 2 passes. Great finish from the Ike aftershave(wow, I nearly called it Eight And Bob, because of the chief scent. The real Eight and Bob must be fantastic.). On to some canned shaves for the holiday. As Outstanding As It Gets.

    Troy M Prep: Mephitis mephitis musk

    I've worn a full beard for over a year and well, during this Christmas season, I get mistaken for Kris Kringle too much and I decided about a month ago to let my balding pate be covered a bit by hair. Yesterday I decided enough was enough and grabbed my clippers and mowed it all down and then hopped in the shower and took down the scalp stubble with a 2 blade bic and then to the sink and used my ATT Windsor and a Personna blade and got back to well groomed. I've got to work on my lathering skills again a bit and so will be using some left-overs of Arko and few other bits and bobs grated and pressed into an old Seaforth mug and a synthetic brush and either a lather bowl or my face.
    I'll be checking in January.

    SE Shave # 425

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Ever-Ready 1912 SE
    Blade: GEM Stainless
    Brush: Leo Frilot Custom NYR 26 mm Synthetic
    Lather: PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum
    Aftershave: PAA Amalfi 3K
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

    The final shave with this Bay Rum soap as the Edmund Fitzgerald collected another fine tub. Once again, the PAA lather was slick providing an exce Cushion for the blade to do its work on each of the three passes. Aluminum report was silent. The aftershave was a nice finishing touch.

    I am now in prep mode for Christmas dinner. On today’s agenda, making the sauce for the ravioli and a birthday cake for my mother.

    Hope you all have a great day.

    The finished tub:
