For this morning's shave, all I changed was the

Brush-Large Dark Blue Sythetic

Another fine one. No problems anywhere. Clean and clesr all over, set up by the tandem of brush/soap. The Grooming Dept. soap is running quite low, but I can still get a few more shaves with it, I believe. 2 healthy passes.

The Fine Latigo A.S. deserves a little story....course I've talked about it before, but just wanted to mention it for those readers who didn't know about it. It;s a dupe of the European classic Knize10, opened in 1925 in Austria . Happy 100, Knize 10! It's mostly leather, but a different kind of leather than we're used to..it's lighter and more cologne-like. I'd love to see other artisans do a dupe of this great product. Cheers to inventor Josephn Knize, as well as Francois Coty and (I forget the other fellas name)for their contributionx toward putting thid baby on the market for gentlemen all around the world.

For the shave, Most Outstanding(I missed the right sideburn area, but I had the presence of mind to correct the miss post-shave. )

Did 3 passes on my dome with the $1.25 Dollar Tree razor and 3 passes on my face and neck with my Dovo shavette for a smoo bloodless smooth, comfortable shave.

Picked the Seaforth Spice Lime set because of the awesome Lime scent and the great lather it produces. Here is my lather:



I has minimal alum feedback on my neck and virtually none on the dome. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave to finalize this shave session. Take care.

Excellent first shave of 2025 in the Northern Den this morning. As I have usually designated my Sunday shave for one of the sample soaps in my collection, the Van Yulay Perfect Storm received the call to duty. The scent profile is below:

“A clean stormy ocean scent with ozone notes of the sky. With a hint of musk for that perfect ocean fragrance.”

I did my usual three passes with the W & B straight. The razor delivered a close shave without any mishaps. I will be spending most of my day relaxing, save for taking Anthony to the ice rink. Final weekend of the football season. Huge game tonight, Go Vikings!!!!
