SE SOTD, Wednesday, January 15th 2025, 2nd consecutive daily shave with this new razor.(8 week delivery because of Canadian postal mail strike that lasted over 4+ weeks.

Razor : Yaqi Romulus OC 316 SSP, Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2024>, tame mid to mid range is what I'm getting on feed back with 2nd use results using a Feather blade. Still dialing in this razor a little (New purchase), I should of just used my regular Kai CTMP blades that I'm use to for more accuracy on feedback possibly.
Blade : Feather Professional (2) Very sharp with reasonble longevity. This Feather blade was sent with the razor.
Soap : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier, very enjoyable scent that just works for my nose senses + has excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Moka Express" 26mm Husky knot. This synthetic just has the right face feel + it just apply's lather perfectly IMO.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Yaqi Romulus Rapier Splash + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + very small area of under chin irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus OC razor with a Feather blade.

This Matas soap is from Denmark and I received it a few years ago. It’s a very plain, basic product with a clean, soapy scent, it lathers remarkably well, it’s quite slick, and the postshave care is decent. The Proraso Blue balm is so moisturizing as well as soothing, and the Island Man aftershave smells so gorgeous - do I ever love it. I only had time for two quick passes but I still managed to get a great almost BBS shave.

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent bar Soap.
Brush: Fine 24mm Synthetic.
Bowl: Ikea Kalas Side Bowl.
Lather: Gillette Skin Ultra Sensitive Shave Cream.
Blade: Amazon Solimo. (D4)
Razor: Yaqi DOC Mellon Razor Head w/Schmidt R10 Handle.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Original ASL./Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

Early morning shave,

A wonderful shave to finish my shaving week of on a high. The Amazon Solimo blade feels as though it could give a few more shaves but I'll retire it as four 3 pass + pick ups shaves from one blades is superb.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

This setup really put big time icicles in my face - my dear brothers Fernando and Jaco both whipped up a couple of frigid winners. The Frosted Lavender soap and aftershave have such a beautiful scent, the soap’s tallow based, it lathers like a champ, the slickness is unbelievable, it gives a whopper of a menthol sensation that compares to any of the Stirling Glacials, and the postshave care is fantastic. The Stoffel balm has a lovely peppermint scent, it gives lots of soothing as well as moisturizing, and it’s also chock full of menthol. The Frosted Lavender aftershave has no stinging or burning because it’s witch hazel based and it can turn your face into a sheet of ice. Finally the Eau Sauvage fragrance which is so delightful and I’m good to go. Three passes delivered a brilliant BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

The Palmolive Shave Cream lathered well with Jayaruh #458 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Goodwill Razor razor and the PolSilver DE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva Musk After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

SE SOTD, Thursday, January 16th 2025. #3 consecutive daily shave with my Romulus OC razor.

Razor : Yaqi Romulus OC 316 SSP with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2024>, tame mid to mid range>. Excellent machining, outside finish is excellent with machine marks on inside to keep accuracy is my understanding. Very difficult head to machine because of its small parts.
Blade : Feather Professional (3) very sharp and starting to smooth out a little on 3rd use.
Soap : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier croap , very nice fragranced soap that is addictive + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky dice" 26mm brown whiskers synthetic fan knot. I lucked buying this very small testing batch years ago.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : (Alum tested- not much sting indication at all), witch hazel cleanse +Yaqi Musketeer Rapier splash + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus OC with a Feather professional blade. Great shave this morning!
