It's hump day and time to pick another Gillette just for fun. Still waiting on my Super Adjustable short handle arrive. It appears the USPS is now run by a very disorganized group of Cub Scouts who are unable to use their compass or map or even common sense to move packages from one place to another. Although I do realize the Cub Scouts have adult supervision, unlike any government affiliated agency.

Anyway, on to the Gillette New LC with a stunning Delta Echo finish. Just like its cousin the New Deluxe, this razor gives incredibly smooth and close shaves. The New was really a great design that doesn't get enough credit. The Voskhod was sharp and smooth as always. Moon Soap Old School Tallow is a wonderfully easy soap to lather and gives a great cushy and slick lather. With the 30DC brush it was quick and easy to get things going. Two passes, touch up, splash on the Veg and I'm ready for dinner then back to driving my slaves.....er....employees for another night. Have a great evening and a better tomorrow!

Excellent shave Neil. I tried Moon Soaps Havana thanks to @Primotenore. It's a vanilla and tobacco frag. That soap produced a nice lather.

 

I did a couple of shaves with Havana on a sample puck. I remember it being quite nice.

Well, I figured, with encouragement from other 30DC members, to continue in the same vein for another day!

Same setup, The Body Shop Maca Root & Aloe, Omega EVO, Rocket HD and a fresh Gillette Platinum blade followed by the Imperial Leather and Sandalwood. I am determined to make dent in the Imperial Leather and hopefully send it to the bottom of the ocean in the next month or so. Got to make space on that shelf in the Den!

In the interests of brevity and avoiding an annoying pimple I decided to focus on just doing one pass

Turned out surprisingly good: socially acceptable, particularly since I am working from home today

Another Hot Day, whatever did folk do in the days without aircon?

Terrific shave Chris. Here's my list: swimming, open fire hydrants, drink ice cold beverages, sit in the shade and of course, shave with mentholated products

 

Lol! Thanks Joe. No pool here. No fire hydrants here (I believe not all in LA were not working, ouch). Cold water yes. Shade indoors: Yes. Menthol: to be added to my list.

In the meantime the a/c stays on!

I definitely needed to shave this evening. LOL! I went with the Mühle R102 (R41) to tackle my dense dome turf. Yes, it was overkill to use it on my 36 hr face stubble, but I just wanted to use one razor this evening. I only needed 2 passes on the face and dome with touchups on the dome for a very close comfortable shave on my face and neck and cueball smooth on the dome. I didn't bleed during and after the shave.

I am almost done with this puck and can see me Fitzing it before the end of the month. In fact, I may continue to use it until it is finished.
I didn't have any alum feedback on the dome, but I did have a very slight zing on my neck.
I have to get a new bottle of witch hazel because I finished this bottle. I barely had enough to hit all my shaved areas. Splashed on the matching aftershave to finish tonight's session. Mea culpa, didn't take a pic of my setup. It was the same setup as yesterday's shave except for the razor. Take care.

Prep: Warm shower:/L’Oréal Paris Men Expert Hydra Energy Taurine Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 49.
Face Lather.
Lather: Derby Shaving Soap Bowl.
Blade: Amazon Solimo. (D4)
Razor: Lord L125 Head w/Muhle R89 Handle.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Gummy Traditional Turkish Tobacco Cologne./Bulldog Original Moisturiser.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Bulldog Original Moisturiser.
