    i have other a & e products,but are same/similar but different scents
    their new old school shaving creams are excellent also..products used in this mini focus were,v2,kaizen ,kazien 2e,ultima,plus older ones..
    all were awesome to use,and for me unfortunately unratetable.
    all delivered fine lathers that would work with any razor type.

    Fantastic shave with the Parker SRX. Three passes without incident. The King of Oud is slowly marching towards its date with destiny on the Edmund Fitzgerald. The projected time of its demise is at some point t during the end of February, perhaps sooner if I push it.

    This evening, my son and I are head to MSG for the Ranger game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

    Glad it's new, but makes it more inreresting, since it covers an old era(London, 1920'a). Fine Latigo is like that-new, since it's part of the "newer Fines", but it's a dupe of a 1925 product.

    Brush - Wolf Whiskers Custom Badger
    Finish - Aqua Velva Musk

    Well, that was a mixed bag of a shave. I had found my Stirling Glastonbury which is a mutton tallow soap. Great lather from the WW brush and a luxurious feel from the brush as well. No complaints there. The New LC is still one of the best. No problem there. The AQ Musk? Great drugstore A/S and scent. All good on that front. So where did it go wrong?

    Well, in the last place it usually does when I'm using Russian blades. Voskhod is normally a top two blade for me, right after Sharp Star. Last night was great on the first shave. Typical Voskhod quality. However, once in a great while you get a dud in the pack and I found it, apparently. Second run on the blade tonight had me making sure I hadn't changed the blade in my sleep. Rough, tuggy, dull, just really horrible quality. I was able to survive the first pass and get a second one in without much more discomfort, but this blade had died for cutting. Let it go at that since I'm just going to work anyway. Good enough for government work and I'll change it up tomorrow.

    Another Clubman winner. Clean&clear all around. No damage. 2 passes. Great setup from the Jayaruh. I find that I like the concept of giving the soap another swirl before the second pass. Maybe not as hard as for the first one, but it does help. Great clos from the Clubman Regular A.S-they callit "The quintessential barber shop A.S." As Outstanding As It Gets.

    I spent enough time in the trenches either testing every blade I could find, or else taking dares to shave with blades and razors no man should attempt. Well, sane man anyway. I considered switching the blade out halfway through the first pass but decided to tough it out. This morning I noticed in the shower that it was as bad as I thought. Feels like I didn't even shave yesterday.

    1 bought a couple of hundred voskhods back in the day of your ruling here,,they were smooth for a bit for me then tanked..i thankfully have given most away to my friend who loves them.he likes mid sharp blades.i need sharper blades these days..
