Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Ikea Kalas Side Bowl.
Lather: Erasmic Shaving Soap Bowl.
Blade: Amazon Solimo. (D3)
Razor: Lord L125 Head w/Muhle R89 Handle.
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) (D5)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB./Scentalis His Honour Pour Homme EdT.

Well done Barry. What is the scent of the shave soap?

 

Thank you Joe. The scent of the soap to my nose, which isn't the best at describing scents, has a light classic barbershop, clean, soapy, baby powder scent. Overall, it's a great in-expensive soap and a great performer.

 

Back with Ike this morning, with a diffferent

brush-Stoylin "li'l brudder".

Much better shave this morning. A minute a the Loading Dock, and man that Stoylin scooped up a lot of soap. Clean, clear shave all over.2 passes. I made it a point to bring out more of the Ike A.S>, but such a small pour spout on the bottle makes it a real challenge. I'm pleased, oveerall. Most Outstanding.

It's the end of the day in my world. Morning in everyone else's. Time to shave. Second run with the '59 Gillette Tech and Rapira SS blade. I was debating on the drive home which soap to use. Finally decided to just stop arguing with myself and use the Turkish miracle soap, Arko. Easiest lathering soap in the world, refreshing (?) lemony scent and I've got loads of it. I have used the stick on my face before, then worked a lather with a wet brush, but I prefer to grate a puck or two at a time into a wooden soap bowl from St. Charles Shaving Soap (now out of business) and load the brush as usual. The Semogue 620 made that an easy process.

Two very smooth and comfortable passes, some touch ups, and the day is done. I'll splash on some Bay Rum or Lilac Vegetal before heading into work tonight. For now, it's time to put my feet up and think about getting some sleep in a bit. Enjoy your day!

Slowly but surely I am having this soap steadily march towards its eventual meetup with the Edmund Fitzgerald. Just love the sweetness of this scent which does not have the darkness vibe of some of the Oud soaps in my dens.

The Twin Duck straight did a masterful job removing this morning’s growth with the customary three passes. Once again the wndresult was a flawless shave.
