One final shave with the 1959 Gillette Tech this morning. Third shave on the Rapira SS blade and it has performed flawlessly. Even the least expensive Russian holds up under a three day routine. I chose Stirling Mountain Man, and used my 2019 30DC Meetup brush with Badger/Boar knot to get a super luxurious lather. Love how this brush feels on my face. Wish I had more of them. Oh wait, I can.....well, ok maybe not today.

Did a full three passes just to enjoy the time with this setup. Great finish and the end of a long day. Night. Whatever. Last night I splashed on some Bay Rum before heading to work. Tonight will be the Mighty Veg! Enjoy your Wednesday!

It was time for a dual head and face shave this morning. I chose the 6C for the dome and the Magic shavette for the rest. Three passes all around was the ticket this morning. I did have minor pickups on the dome, but that was it. The King C Gillette blade felt very mild to me, but it did a nice job on my dome.
The Magic shavette performed great. One of the benefits of this razor is that it is very easy to load. The metallic blade holder easily slides in and out of the razor without touching the blade.
Didn't shed any blood this morning and the result was dolphin smooth on the dome and a very close, comfortable shave on the face and neck.

I am getting closer to finishing this tub of soap. I figure maybe 4 shaves at the most, but I am not good at estimating as you all know. Lol!.
The alum was mostly silent on the face and neck, but was more evident on my dome. I attribute it to the mildness of the King C Gillette blade because I had to add pressure to get to my tough areas. Splashed on the matching aftershave and I am good to go. Take care.

Cream/Soap = Cyril Salter Solid Shaving soap 70 g tallow. Fantastic product, nice post skin care, almost forgot I needed the Nivea Balm and ASL!

Blade = Bolzano (1) and (2)
Passes = 3 Passes both times
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal, Nivea balm
ASL = Imperial Leather
Scent = The Body shop Black Musk EdP
Score = 9 + / 10, Pretty much as close to BBS as you can get
Damage = No damage for two superlative back to back shaves with this wonderful No 66. This one is a keeper!

Nice soap bowl Neal. I suspect it is varnished or treated on the inside. I had a wooden bowl that I tried in my early days of wet shaving but the wood or wood stain or whatever would discolour the soap

Excellent Proraso shave this morning. I was able to sleep in later today as both my wife and son were off from school. A later morning X3Bar workout followed by a nice warm shower and great shave.

The end result of this three pass shave was smoothness that was given the SOA of the missus.
