Bought a new computer keyboard on Amazon and needed a buck added for next day delivery. Found 90 assorted blade sampler for 9.99 so added it. Didn't say what blades were included. Arrived today and there are actually 105 blades, as the seller obviously didn't notice that Treets come in 10 count tucks. Some of these I've tried, some I've never heard of. I feel some test shaves coming up.

I've tried several of the. I remember the Silver Stars being surprisingly good as well. Asco was a good blade as well. The Treets have always been good blades, though I've never tried the Dura Sharps. Eager to try one out. All in all not a bad selection. Only one pack of Derby. My wife uses those.
2 bath soaps from Dr. Squatch-MAVERICK MUSK. Bourbon, Leather, and Moss. Course I use those at the sink for hand-washing. It will be quite a while before I get to those-I probably have more hand-soaps than shaving stuff .
New arrival today. Several years ago I had bought the Qshave - the clone of the Merkur Futur. Very interesting razor, inexpensive but a bit lacking in build quality. Still always gave good shaves. Was looking around and found the actual, real deal, Merkur Futur has come down in price since then. Thought I'd upgrade. The real deal feels a bit heavier and is clearly a bit better engineered. I'll give it a spin in the next few days.
My Proraso brush was delivered yesterday..what a beauty! It's an Omega, silver in color. I can see myself in the reflection!
Two packages arrived today. And with the way the USPS works in STL right now that qualifies as a major miracle. First up is a Stirling order. A tub of Black Ice and my current favorite of theirs, Haverford, complete with aftershave. I still have a puck of the 2018 Fair Debonaire St. Louis that was the limited edition soap for that event, and which then became Haverford. I have only considered two soaps as "daily drivers", and Haverford is one of them. Next up is one that feeds my curiosity and hobby. A Soviet razor, from ca. 1981. It was a military issue razor given to the troops as part of their gear. There were a lot of different variations of army razors during that time in the USSR. All have one thing in common. They're cheap and typically not great to shave with. Given Russian military strategy however, they probably figured cannon fodder didn't need anything too durable. Wouldn't be used that long. Shave this morning, blown to bits by noon. This razor has a cheap plastic case holding a cheap plastic handle and razor head with a space for blades. I put a Voskhod in to complete the set for the picture. There's also a paper included that I'm working on translating. I've tried every Soviet razor I've obtained, so will definitely give this one a try. After vodka. Lots of vodka.

The Postal Service finally found a pony that could locate my house and delivered my 1972 (S1) short handled Super Adjustable. Got this for a steal on Ebay and it's a beauty. A short Black Beauty to be exact.
