This Extra Fris version of De Vergulde Hand has a nice soapy/aquatic scent, it lathers great, and it leaves a very comfortable postshave feeling. The Proraso Blue balm is so soothing as well as moisturizing, and the English Leather aftershave gave me a two second sting but then it felt great - do I ever love its old school scent. Three passes gave me a splendid BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

The Williams Mug Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #18 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Merkur 37c Slant razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

My dear brother Abir in Kolkata, India makes AWESOME soaps and aftershaves - his Explosion de Cedrat is lemony scented in a lovely way, it’s vegan based, it gives great lather with lots of slickness, it’s quite mentholated, and it’s very skin friendly. The Kaffir Lime balm is another example of Abir’s talent - this stuff smells beautiful and it’s so soothing as well as cooling. Last but not least the delightful Eau Sauvage fragrance and everything’s in order. Another fabulous three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!
