  6. Thanks Gary

Nope, not new at all, over a year old and one of my more used brushes. The conditioning trick might be worth a go: how often do you tend to do this.
Interesting though that with this morning's shave the same brush, water, and loading technique worked well with the Stirling soap

    Thx Gary

Cool Australian Jr shave and set: have we seen the accompanying box before ? ;)

  12. I do the same routine with my Brushes, I also do the same with my razors. My method is I mix together equal parts white vinegar warm water, & anti bacterial washing up liquid then soak the razors in the solution for 5 – 10 minutes. While the razors are in the solution, I scrub them with an old toothbrush to aid the scum removal & any nasties. I never use boiling water, as this could warp the heads of the razors. I also use barbicide on the rare occasion, but the anti bacterial washing up liquid seems to work fine.
  13. very cool, thats a good idea..i pour boiling water in a large mug, clean the razors with dishsoap and a toothbrush, then drop the razor in the mug still covered with soap.it really deep cleans inside the mechanisms and they operate so smoothly afterward.i do the boiling water treatment at least 2-3 a year, but usually under a hot tap with dish soap weekly after i remove each blade..

I definitely needed a shave. I went scruffy for 2.5 days. Lol. Three passes produced an error-free BBS shave. Had some alum feedback. Splashed on the matching aftershave to end this session. Take care.

  18. Fine shave and setup Chris. I don't know what to say because I have never used MWF. However, you're in good company with those shavers who have endured the MWF mystery. Some have succeeded and others have failed. Hoping you will be the former and not the latter.
