Fine shve this morning with Ike(Strike Gold Shave). The one area that bothered me was the area I've been talkinabout the past few days-just under th right nostril at North Porcupine. Elsewhere, all was good. A minute at the Loading Dock for thr first pass, a few nore extra seconds for thee second. Some reviewers of Ik e say they don't get the feature scent of Eight And Bob, but I do. It's a cologne-like scent. Also does the skin good. It's a shame that one tiny area of my face could upset my shave, and ME with it. Pretty Outstanding overall.

I skipped shaving yesterday due to some appointments I had to attend to. So I had a nice two day growth for the third run with the MMOC. I used one of my Stirling synthetics and whipped up a very nice lather from the El Caballero. The center hole is definitely formed now so we're working this one down nicely.

The razor and blade were incredibly smooth and effective against two days of beard. These Gem blades really do last well, and the MMOC is a perfect tool to put them in. I did two full passes and some extra touch up. Even did a bit of G-slide on my neck just because I can. Finished with a perfect smooth face and I'm ready for a nap then my night off. Frying up some catfish tonight for a late Valentine's Day dinner for my bride. Catfish is her absolute favorite fish. Hope your weekend is off to a great start!

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Wrights Coal Tar bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Gillette Skin Ultra Sensitive Shave Cream.
Blade: Wilkinson Sword Classic. (D2)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Premium TTO.

Cold Water face rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Cien Men Aqua ASL. /Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Sunday Morning Shave.

This morning I put a small amount of Shaving cream directly into the damp synthetic to face lather, dipping the brush tips in water when needed building up a lather to the consistency I prefer.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Soap = Stirling Bergamot and Lavender
Brush = Omega EVO synthetic
Bowl = face lathering
Razor = Gillette No 66
Blade = Vintage Henckels Made in Germany (1) Super Platinum Chrome
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal, Nivea Balm
ASL = Imperial Leather
Scent = English leather cologne splash
Score = 9.9 / 10. 100% DFS. As much BBS as I can hope for
10/10 will never be achievable with my growth pattern in some areas without risking repeated blood shedding slicing and dicing and as we all know by now there is no point in going down that route

Hot water prep. T&H No 10 as preshave. Rinsed off
Quickly dipped the brush in RO water, shook and squeezed dry
To maintain consistency I used 100 swirls on the puck, then straight to wet face. Great lather, needing only the addition of a small amount of extra water.

2 passes and touch ups

This is the closest I have had at the end of the first pass with any razor or blade combination. Could have almost left it a that. Super smooth without the need for as much ATG as usual. As some would say: as good as it gets

A German blade, made for Japan, with english text on the blade holder, interesting

MWF 0 + 0 + 1 +0.5 + 1 +1 + 0.5 + 1
Sterling 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1

My Soap scores for Feb are simple: if I failed to get good lather it gets a 0
If it lathered well and easily it gets a 1
If it lathered OK, took more time and effort than I would want on a daily basis but gave an acceptable shave it gets 0.5

Another wonderful Parker SRX Shavette as I get ready for another fun filled day in the Sun.
Three super close passes lead to a super smooth face despite one delayed weeper on the upper lip. The Floid Vigoroso finished off this shave nicely. Too bad Floid has discontinued the Vigoroso.
