  3. Thursday and Friday shave. It was a busy week and I have not worked this much since I retired. For Friday I went with my Gilette Toggle and it delivered a better shave than I remember. It is going to be close finishing the C&S, a nice performer for sure.

Just picked up this ABC at a phenomenal price.

    High-Class Cella.
  7. Charlie, glad to use Tabac, as long as I get to use a clothespin on my schnozz. Interesting aside, my grandson had no idea what a clothespin was. Take care, my olfactorily damaged friend…
  8. Thank you guys. Right now I am just hoping the light at the end of the tunnel is not an oncoming train. ;)

  9. @Keithmax Keith, my wife has become engrossed in K Dramas and K Pop bands. She bought tickets to a K Pop concert in San Antonio. Ready or not I will be going.

If Swati finds out she can get enough vegetable dishes to eat, I can see a trip to Korea in our future.

    Extro Egyptian Oudh~~Semogue TSN Final Edition~~RazoRock GC/Personna 74
Picked this soap up last month. First take reminded me too much of Le Père Lucien Bay Rum,
    a soap/scent that doesn't please me.
Tried to sell it, but had no takers. I guess I am going to shave with it.
Loaded directly from the puck and had much better results.
While the scent does not really remind one of oud, it
isn't awful and since I rinse my face with Witch Hazel,
no matter what soap I use, the scent is obliterated after the shave.

    Macduff's Alberta Boys~~Plisson 16 HMW~~Feather DX/Schick Proline~~Rasasi Hawas
Chose a spring-like fragrance with the break in the weather.
The Plisson has decided not to give up any more hairs.
The Feather DX will bite if not careful.
    No bite today.

  14. It depends if you include tofu and seafood the choices are large, but pure vegetarian is tough. There are alot of vegetables in our diet but mostly as side dishes. Korean cuisine tends lean heavily into meat and seafood. It is doable, if you decide on a trip and can prepare script in Korean you can use at the restaurants to make sure what get is vegetarian. Sometimes they confuse no meat with just a little.

  16. Catch up time, a group photo from the last 4 shaves. The C&S soap is stubbornly cling on and refuses to die. Steel: Riga Razor 7/8, Brian Brown 7/8, Joris Tuxedo and 2011 R41. Brushes: Double Duck retro handle with a boar knot, Thater, Shavemac and Varet. The stanks Montale Aoud Cuir d'Arabie, Dior Pathcouli Imperial, Creed Neroli Sauvage and Guelain Vetiver.

While this soap is great performer I look forward to finishing it off and moving on to the next target.

Next 3017, is what remains of a tub of AoS Rose Absolute.
Purchased on another forum from a reputable member.
He stated there was approximately 50% remaining...:signs002:
Received it today and the reality is otherwise.
    More like 10%...:signs002:
Meanwhile, I had promised @Yehuda D a sample, and I have it all packed up (in a letter)
and ready to ship north. (A promise is a promise)
    I know he'll like it.
    I decided to 3017 what's left. There's perhaps 6-8 shaves remaining.
    (Easiest 3017 I have ever done). :happy088:
Jeff, it's about time you joined us on this thread, my friend.

  19. Friday is the only day I have to get up early and the only day I make an appearance in the office (albiet for just a few hours). So speed is what I need so my Joris DE can delivery and excellent shave quickly. I decided to take the soap destroyer Chubby 2 to the C&S but alas the 3017 will run into March. Cuir de Russie for that elegant touch of leather as opposed to my usual obnoxious choices.

The weekend is the time for some variety, Tabac time. A 7/8 Brian Brown straight in a splash motive was the choice for the steel. The Paladin handle is close enough to the color Tauer L'Air due Désert Maricain bottle to be selected today. The weather has made a turn for the warmer, well not exactly warm but defiantly above freezing and no need for a parka so the Tauer was my stank du jour.
