Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Energize Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Wrights Coal Tar bar Soap.
Brush: Omega S10018.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Proraso Sensitive Shaving Soap.
Blade: Voskhod. (D2)
Razor: Parker 24C.

Post:
Cold Water face rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Brut Original ASL./Cien Cocoa Butter Body Lotion.

Everything in my shave set up paired together superbly making my Sunday morning shave a pleasurable experience.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Cocoa Butter Body Lotion.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Sunday afternoon 2/03/25

Razor : YinTal YT-TRD (Bronze alloy China)
Blade : Voskhod Teflon coated. (1)
Brush : Yaqi caramel cat's whiskers synthetic.
Soap : Arko stick
Aftershave : Lucky Tiger Bay Rum
Razor weight : 103 grams. (originally 112 grams but the handle was unbalanced so I cut of 10mm)
Hi all,
Just a quick clean up so I can take the wife out to a local Thai restaurant (I normally shave every 2nd day).
The YinTal was a gift ( available on AliExpress) It gave me an ok shave but this was 24 hours growth only.
This is my 2nd shave with the razor the 1st one I used the "Original cube pre shave soap" witch combined
with the shave soap gummed up the razor and buggered up the shave.

Going with a budget theme.
I used the Arko stick.
It lathers up well in the bowl and worked well even though the scent is questionable.
I drowned that in Lucky tiger bay rum.

Damn, I was so much in the mood for an Old Spice shave and I still can’t find my mug and three brand new backup pucks so I went with the next best thing - the Vintage Spice soap and aftershave smell so beautiful - so close to the Shulton Old Spice stuff. My Yaqi Barber Pole whipped up such fabulous lather that was so slick as well as cushiony, and the postshave feeling was so comfortable just like ALL of Fernando’s soaps. The Lubriderm moisturizer was so soothing, and the Vintage Spice aftershave went on with its lovely scent that has great longevity. Another easy peasy super duper three pass BBS shave that was so much fun!

The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #424 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher razor and the C.V. Heljestrand Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Here my Shave of the Day (02.03.2025)


Razor: Mühle Rocca // Blade: KAI // Soap: MSC Tabacchi // Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket // Aftershave: 66:60 Skin Nourishing Oil

Yesterday my wife and i were on a concert…Ludovico Einaudi…what a fantastic guy. One of the best concerts i have ever been to. So calming and soothing. It was a blast.

So i thought i would need an elegant scent for today with a razor which i have not used for quite some time. So my choice was the Rocca. A very smooth and gentle razor with a great acoustical feedback while shaving. Not so today…but it was not the razor´s fault, it was the blade. It felt scrapy and kind of „dull“. The brush had no problems whipping up the lather in my gorgeous Heavyweight Copper Bowl from Captain ´s Choice.

I ended the shave after 2 passes. Far away from being BBS and sacrificed with 2 bloodspots. Applied the wonderful smelling 66:60 skin nourishing oil with it´s creamy Citronella scent. It is the same company which makes the Alt-Innsbruck Aftershave.

So today only 8 out of 10 due to the blade.
