When I was organising I found a puck of Pehanligon's Hammam Bouquet and decided to pair it with the EDC. I did not remember how this performed but it was excellent. The big Grim Butcher is always a treat to shave with. My next 3017 has started, George F Trumper's Spanish Leather. This one is already pretty low so it shouldn't take too long. I enjoy the performance and it my best leather scent in a shaving cream... well more like a croap. Kicking off this 3017 with a Brad Sears brush, a big 8/8 Dovo and finishign off with some vintage M7 stank. The common belief amongst the shaving netizens is that the factory edges from Dovo are terrible. My experience is completely different. This one of two Dovos I bought from the Korean Dovo vendor, both have factory edges and both edges are excellent.

I am enjoying the Trumpers, it doesn't take much to make a lot of lather so I pulled one of my big guns, a Simpson PL10.

Thursday, March 13 Colabora~~Varlet Mega HD~~2011 Mühle R41/Weber Bulldog/Wizamet Iridium Super~~Amouage Search First outing with the Pasteur-Collaboration shave soap---hence the name, Colabora. Strong scent, somewhat reminiscent of the Parfums de Marly Layton. Decent lather and slickeness. Not going to buy a tub, however, so this 3017 will be a quickie. I should get at least two more shave with this sample.
Thursday featured a fresh of the hones 7/8 Art Razor and A Taste of Heaven, my favorite lavender stank. Friday I needed a quick shave, my Cobra Classic always delivers a quick and excellent shave. I am enjoying the Trumpers but the weather is getting warm so I need to finish this one of and get going with a spring scent soap.
Saturday, March 15 Barrister & Mann Bay Rum~~dubl duck #2~~Cooper Monobilt/Wizamet Iridium Super~~B&M Kyovu Bay Rum My most recent 3017 was not only short-lived but also not-memorable. Moving forward, while I would love to use this soap daily, sadly, what's now available from B&M is but a shadow of its former self, so...gotta hoard it. Nevertheless, and amazing shave with the above-pictured products.
Sunday variety shave: PRC damascus 7/8, CF, a crazy big brush from Silverloaf and an odd stank, Eau Noir. Hope everyone is having a wonderful evening.
A couple of leather days, Cuir Cannage and Knize Ten to match the Trumper's Spanish Leather. I need to get my leather fix in before the weather gets to warm. A smiling Drew Dick straight and Asyleum Rx were the steel selected for the battle.
Thursday, March 20 ABC Almond Oil~~Wald S1~~Pre-2010 Mühle R41/Wizamet Iridium Super Missed a bunch of shaves due to a really obnoxious cold. Still not 100%, but needed to clean up. Eschewed a stank.
Oh wow....you got the REAL Knize Ten. If I win the lottery someday soon, I'll go for it. For now, Fine Latigo will do.
Friday, March 21 Macduffs Alberta Boys~~Rooney Beehive~~Pre-2010 Mühle R41/Wizamet Iridium Super~~Amouage Search Buffing with a Mühle R41... Yup...this one. NO way I would attempt that with my 2011 version.
I bought this bottle some time ago when international shipping was possible I also bought the body lotion but used that one up. This is my second bottle.
Slowly working my way to the bottom of Trumper's but it will not fall in March. Joris loaded with an Iridium Super or is a Super Iridium? Fahrenheit for the stank, feels like I should wear an oil stained leather jacket with this one, reminds a little of when I worked at the gas station in highschool. Saturday means variety, MDC brain bowl which now has a flat top, a smiling Ali's Blade a big dense Simpson Chubby 2 and for a warm spring day. SMN Acqua di Cuba. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.
Saturday, March 22 Fine Italian Citrus~~Rooney 3/1 Silvertip~~2010 Mühle R41/Wizamet Iridium Super~~Terre d'Hermès Eau Très Fraîche Late post of yesterday's shave. The Fine soap is still quite fine, but the citrusy scent seems to have subsided. Spontaneous SWMBOSOA® on the stank.
Sunday, March 23 I Coloniali~~Simpson CH2 Synthetic Badger~~Wolfman WR1 Ti/Wizamet Iridium Super~~Alt Innsbruck You can't take it with you, so the saying goes. With that in mind, I opened up my last refill puck of I Coloniali. It was magnificent.
