Wonderful final shave with the King of Oud soap. Three fantastic passes with the iced brush scuttle chilled lather. A minor weeper on the middle of my chin which was easily taken care of by the alum, witch hazel and aftershave.

Lather: La Barbiera Fresh Lemon Shaving Soap.
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated. (D2)
Razor: Parker 24C.

Fantastic summer scented shave on this damp and dreary morning on LI. A Joe, @Trigger, favorite.

Superb three passes with Wester Bros. straight. I am definitely enjoying the use of the brush scuttle to chill my lather. Yes, the opposite for what it may have been originally designed for. That being said, I am considering ordering another so I have one in the Southern Den. The water out of the faucet there is not very cold. I think the water lines are too close to the surface so they are affected by the warm weather.
In some ways, the dens keep growing. Lather purchase is not one of the reasons.

My first try with the WestMan soap(course that wasn't part of my "Throwback" this week, but hey, what the hey). I like it. I fixed the sink problem(it wasn't "sinking" properly). Nice work at the Loading Dock. The brush looked funny when all done, but it did a nice paint job. Clean and clear all around. A little more loading for pass #2. Makes a good difference in the whole shave. No "incidents of redness". Always a good sign. The Fine Latigo was a great close. Smells nice, all right. Very happy, but I;ll need to prepare the brush better, even though it worked well. Super Duper Outstanding.
