Very pleased with my shave this morning(Mon). The only thing I must improve on is the area just below the jawline, stretching down a bit to N.Cactus Nation(neck). No pain, just a lack of attention there. This, by the way, is the third of 5 straight Stoylin soap shaves for me(2 different soaps). Lovely Oud scent from the combination of Stoylin's Sigma Oud soap and the Agadir A.S. I've added Agadir to the "I Can't Be Without This" list-good stuff. Clean, clear from the jawline North and Cactus going South, just the lackadaisical job I mentioned earlier. As I say, I am very pleased, but I can do better. Super Duper Outstanding.

    (Face & Head Shave)

    Greetings,

The Kent/MWF soap, always provides a superb lather. If I had to choose a favourite shaving soap, then the Kent/MWF would be a very strong contender. My love of 'The Fat' is a burning eternal flame of lanolin goodness. A superb shaving soap.

A close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

So overall, how do you like the Pearl Flexi OC? I have sometimes considered trying the Pearl as possibly a reasonable modern adjustable razor. I have never particularly liked the design or look of the Merkur Futur or Progress, and ones like the Rex Ambassador (?) are priced a little too rich for my blood.

    The setup:

    IMG_20250325_043138.jpg

Temperatures here are continuing to stay just above or below freezing, despite the occasional snowfall, which mostly melt quickly. Got my hair cut short on Friday and I expect I will dispose of the mustache and goatee at the end of the month. For today, it was another cleanup shave on my neck and cheeks around them.

I overloaded the brush with cream -- I dipped it as though I was going to load the JM Fraser's or TOBS Lavender croaps I have been using lately, and the bristles ended up deep in soft shaving cream instead. Needless to say, I had enough lather to face paint for about six passes instead of the two I actually did... But the lather was definitely rich and creamy.

I did two passes everywhere - WTG and XTG on both my face and neck, although the XTG on neck was more diagonal strokes. No problems. I am sure the alum would have been silent if I had only remembered to use it.

Btw my Medium Henson and custom razor head cover have arrived. Solid black colour for the razor, dark brown leather for the cover:

Very nice. I plan to break it in at the start of next month when I dump the beard.
