This Proraso Blue cream was sent to me ages ago by a friend of mine when it was first launched and this morning was perhaps the second or third time I used it. The scent is nice although I can’t describe it, (perhaps black liquorice?” it gives great lather, there’s a teeny tiny bit of menthol in it, and it’s very gentle on my skin. The matching balm is very soothing as well as moisturizing, and the Aqua Velva has always been a top favourite aftershave of mine. Last but not least the Cool Water fragrance and everything’s in perfect order. My Goodfella/Wilkinson combo gave me a helluva good three pass BBS that was so enjoyable!

The Mitchel's Wool Fat Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #462 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ming Shi Adjustable razor on 5 and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This Delmy soap is from India and it literally costs pennies so I believe it’s the CHEAPEST soap available. Yes, its container is very small but it’s so cheap that it’s great for anyone on a tight budget. I love its old school barbershop scent, I use it as a stick by rubbing it all over my face and neck, my Yaqi Barber Pole synthetic whips up a tremendous amount of beautiful lather which is surprisingly very slick. It’s not a very skin friendly soap but the Prep took terrific care of my postshave needs. The Polar Ice aftershave’s awesome scent pairs so well with this soap - now I feel and smell like I just stepped out of a 60s barbershop. Three passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!
