i prefer buying sets also...but have many citrus aftershaves as well.

 

Thank you Joe. It's all in the technique. I still get occasionally weepers, mainly with my head/ dome shaves, usually on the back of my head where I'm shaving blind, I tried using a mirror when I first started to shave my head, but I found it to be a huge distraction, I was paying more attention to looking in the mirror, rather than concentrating with shaving my head. I also never aim for "BBS PERFECTION" with my shaves either I find it pointless, and think this is one of the major reasons why people get nicks weepers and irritation through being over-zealous for shaving perfection. DFS/ close comfortable error-free shaves are what I achieve 90% of the time. What more can I ask for. ?

Another nice effortless shave with the No 66
Much easier to get in around the nose area than with the Pearl Flexi

And once again, a potential top-graded shave was ruined by polka-dots.They were in the same location as previously, S. Porcupine and N. Cactus. I just need to slow down and be more careful. Great job all-around, other than these nuisances. 2 passes. While I really enjoy Mama Bear's Clubman clone, I might next try another of her barbershop scents(I figure that could be close to a Clubman clone, too. Emphasis on COULD. The most important thing is to order the right kind-shave soap in a jar w/lid, like most are(including my first one from Mama). The Jayaruh brush worked wonders for me, as it always has. Very Outstanding.

I have been getting lazy shaving this month and letting things go longer than usual. I definitely needed to clean up my face and dome. I went with my Model T and placed a fresh Zorrik blade in it and went with setting 4. I usually have this razor on 5 or 6, but I want to see how it works on a 5 day head growth. I only needed 2 error-free passes for a dolphin smooth result and 3 passes on my face and neck for a BBS shave. Did get a weep on my stache, but the alum quickly took care of it. Had very little feedback on my neck and some on the dome. Splashed on the aftershave to end this morning's shave. Take care.
