    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

    A simple, but very enjoyable shave to finish my shaving week off with no drama. I find the Lea shave stick is absolutely superb, not just for it's price tag, but most importantly for it's performance & post shave feel.

    A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

    Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

    My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.;)

    Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.:cool:

    All-blades focus for April

    2 Days growth

    Hot Water Prep and Preshave = Palmolive shave cream
    Cream/Soap = TOBS Oud
    Brush = Razorock Plissoft black handle
    Bowl = white plastic
    Razor = Gillette Rocket HD
    Blade = Euromax (1 and done)
    Passes = 2 +
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal, PR barbe dure
    ASL = PR Barbe Dure with Oud
    Scent = TBS Black Musk

    Nice smooth shave with the Euromax in the inevitably reliable Rocket HD

    No complaints with this blade, easy ATG in the neck, upper lip and lower lip

    Nice slick lather from the TOBS, maybe a bit thin, but that’s because the Plissoft seems to release more water than the Boars

    As I've mentioned in many of my posts on the forum, my train of thought with all my shaves is never aim for perfection or be over zealous. In all my time nobody has ever remarked and said,"you haven't had a BBS shave", most remarks are "you are always cleanly shaven," which is my aim, I do from time to time get what I consider a very close BBS shave, I also get the occasional weeper, mainly with my head/dome shaves "normally at the back of my head, due to shaving blind, but it's nothing my alum block and post shave application doesn't correct, besides It's all part of this enjoyable hobby/pastime of ours.
    yours-Barry.

    What a great shave on this Throwback Thursday :). About 0:50 at the Loading Dock for the OSP soap(Old Gold). Nice Rembrandt job across my face&neck. No cuts, Knicks, polka-dots. Again, a light miss at the right sideburn area. Shux, I'd been doing so well there of late. I had to be careful with the "New Spice" A.S., as a lot came out before I was ready to apply it to my face. Niagra Falls, that. Was more careful down at Cactus(neck). Smells good, but I'm sure the Shulton persuasion was better. Speaking of that, I still haven't heard from Pasteur Pharmacy as to that soap being ready for me to purchase. Did they get rid of it? Hope not...I'll try another method to look it up. The Israeli Ambassador to TSD would know, I'm sure. But OSP is a great soap overall. As Outstanding As It Gets for the TT shave.

    I kind of feel like you, in that no one hasever told me I smell great/sexy, etc. I get LOOKS, but not COMPLIMENTS. I don't have an alum block.

    Excellent shave Chris. I find that thinner lathers are slicker than Santa beards.
