Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Energize Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears Transparent bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia 24mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Cella Extra Extra Bio Organic Aloe Vera Shaving Cream.
Razor: Baili BD191 head w/Muhle R89 Handle. - Dorco Prime Platinum. (D1)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Head/Dome)- Personna Injector PTFE. (D4)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Cella Bio Organic Aloe Vera ASL./Aloe Vera Gel.

(Face & Head Shave)

A new shave set up to start the weekend...

It's been a while since I last used the Cella extra extra Bio shaving cream, which provides a wonderful lather this vegan version is equally as good to it's tallow sibling and like the tallow version it's slick protective and doesn't dry out and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and smooth. The mild-light fresh & Citrusy matching aftershave is very pleasing leaving a good post shave feel.

The mildness of the Baili BD191 head and assertiveness of the Dorco Prime Platinum is another great combo cutting through my face stubble with effortless ease.

Over the last few months I've really enjoyed my mini focuses revisiting razors that I've hardly added to my DE razor rotation, it made me more appreciative to them and shown me that they can provide me with good shaving results.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

Did an error-free 2 pass shave for a comfortable smooth shave. It was nice to enjoy the SeaSpice Lime once again. As you can see, it produced a nice lather.


The alum was silent. Splashed on the matching aftershave to end this session. Take care.

 

Great shave set up to start the weekend Joe. It's been a while since I last used a Derby blade, I'll have to add some with my April focus.

 

Thanks Barry. They are pretty sharp, but smooth. However, I find that I have to replace them sooner than other blades.

 

Great setup and shave Barry. I also get surprised with some of my seldomly useed razors.

Because I have such a large amount of blades in my collection, for quite a while now, I only use them for two shaves max regardless of the brand then refresh them with the exception of a few makes.

It had been a long time since I last used the Razorock lather in the glass jar. I may repurchase it, haven't decided yet. Clean, clear shave all over. No damage. It did take a while to complete things up at NW Porcupine. Is that area going to be problematic for me from here on out.We'll see. Hope not. 2 passes. Good work on the Gabels A.S. Boy, did I smell the clove persuasion in this Bay Rum. I have a feeling numerous messages to Gabels forced them to add clove to their BayRum. At first glance, it was described as not having any(which attracted me). It's "manageable", I'll say that(oh, I just DID say that, lol). Don't get excited, Bay Rum lovers-I am fully aware clove is a key ingredient in most. For the shave commentary, I'll have to say Most Outstanding, as I struggled to clean up NW Porcupine.

this razor is like the brit red tip of the 1940's,lots of blade feel.
