I agree. I reckon that's why it might have come with the Pearl Flexi. Or maybe just marketing. I definitely do better with a sharper blade but need to take more care

 

Dreary day? Oh well at least the Spring Fern somewhat compensated for that?

New blade for April’s All-blades focus. Have read a lot of good reports about this blade. Had them for a while, today was the day

Well, it’s sharp. And stays that way during the whole shave. I scored a small nick just below the lower lip left side, almost bled, but not quite. This blade feels like it has a lot more life left in it, so I will not be binning this quite yet. Felt totally different to the Willy’s, with all the other hardware and software the same as yesterday. Could have been a one and done type of shave, but still had lots of lather left, and still needed some clean ups, so a 2nd pass was all that was needed

Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Erasmic Shave cream.
Razor: Baili BD191 head w/Muhle R89 Handle. - Dorco Prime Platinum. (D1)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Head/Dome)- Personna Injector PTFE. (D5)

Post:

Early morning face & head shave.

The Erasmic shave cream is a great inexpensive shaving cream that doesn't have much of a scent, but makes up for it's performance and post shave feel.

Finishing the shave off a with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

A comment on your "vintage Gillettes" comment is in order" My local CVS ran out of the Sensor Deuce DisposeABLES, but you can still get thhe "Blades", which are a good clone of the Sensor Deuces. Nice report, buddyyyy(long lung breath)

 

Nice to see you are using the Omega boar. I have a soft spot for my boar brushes. Great shave up Gary.

Pedro Fiasco's Limoncello SS and AS
Stirling Alum Block
Beard Growth: 2.5 days



I only did 2 passes for an error-free smooth and comfortable shave. The Limoncello soap has a wonderful citrus scent and make a nice lather.
Here it is:



Alum was silent and then splashed on the matching aftershave. It was a very simple and easy shave with excellent results. Take care.
