That Blue Stratos has always appealed to me. I might go try a sampler sometime soon
  3. Thank you Chris...Blue stratos is a very affordable firm favourite of mine, both the ASL & Cologne are well worth trying out if giving the opportunity to do so.
Something of interest: Blue Stratos Key Sun Laboratories cologne - a fragrance for men
  4. Thanks Barry, looks interesting on paper, time to go and have a bit of a sniffta I reckon
  5. Fine shave this morning. I listed it yesterday, but forgot the brush(couldn't recall it. I do now:)

    Brush-Large Dark Blue Synthetic

I love the West Man Soap-really jumps onto the brush. No need to go for the full minute at the Loading Dock. West Man was bought out by a new company, and I can't recall its name now. Anyway, a nice, clean/clearshave in most areas, except-you guessed it-N.W. Porcupine. I'd have to say the razor is not a COMPLETE dupe of Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot +. Close, yes, but not the full cigar. It just doesn't attack N. Porcupine like the Gillette does. No damage, though. Two passes. The aftershave surprised me on this unseasonably snowy, wet day, as it has some menthol. Not as much as Skin-Bracer, Aqua-Velva, or the Stoylin glacials, but enough to make me react. I guess there wasn't any baseball at Fenway today! I liked it(the Jockey Club, from Caswell-Massey)though. I'm using Jockey Club soap to wash my hands these days. As I told @brit once(in so many words), no more "rinky-dink" smelling soaps for my hands-I want them to smell SOPHISTICATED. Sorry, I know this isn't the "Hand-Soap Den". Today's shave gets a Most Outstanding comment.

    DE Shave # 593

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Yaqi Adjustable
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1)
    Brush: RazoRock Plissoft Monster 26mm
    Lather: PAA Boomtown Bay Rum
    Aftershave: PAA Boomtown Bay Rum
    Additional Care:
    Maggards Alum
    Nivea Cool Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

Outstanding shave this morning in the Southern Den. The Yagi Adjustable razor, set on setting 4 of 6 options, delivered a super close shave. This shave did not present any PTisms. Cannot top that!

Prior to my shave I noticed a new visitor that decided to take up residence a top my bedroom window.

Well I will have to wait to remove it. Perhaps Mother Nature will take care of it come Hurricane/Thumderstorm season.

Hope you all have a great Saturday.
