Today's shave is in commemoration of the brave man from the Australian And New Zealand Army Corps.
Who stormed a shore on this day at Anzac Cove.
On the Gallipoli Peninsula.
And all the brave Men and Women who made the ultimate sacrifice.


On 25 April 1915.
110 years ago today.

I made a little boo boo yesterday because my Wilkinson blade is on its 12th day today, not yesterday. Anyway it’s no big deal - it’s been almost a year since I last used the Boots stick so I decided to pull it out today. It’s nothing fancy shmancy but it has a pleasant scent that’s clean and soapy with a bit of a lemony note, it gives good lather that has enough slickness, and it’s decent skincare wise. The Lubriderm moisturizer works beautifully as a balm, and the Florida Water went on with its lovely old school scent that’s so awesome. Three passes gave me a terrific BBS shave but I think it’s soon going to be time to change this blade.

The Stirling Pharaoh's Dreamsicle Shave Soap lathered well with SlimGem 3D Printed Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the PAA Starling Open Comb razor and the C.V. Heljestrand Wedge gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Pharaoh's Dreamsicle AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
